Something which makes me happy...

...is writing poems and this is for my close friend on his birthday!

The brightest sun and the most pleasant moon
The purest dewdrop and the gentlest breeze
Marked that most special day in history
When a noble soul set foot down here
Very many happy returns of the day!

He is not a usual person and his birthday is not just another day!

Sun rose at midnight,
Moon continued until midday;
The skies opened in the winter
The flower bloomed much earlier;
And the entire universe revolved around earth,
May be all of them were so eager to see God’s sweetest child being born.
Very many happy returns of the day, Mr. Acquist!

Someone is the reason for the success we get

The Blue Sky with thousand trillions of stars,
Sweetly twinkled on the Milky Way;

This Early Morning bloomed with thousand millions of daffodils,
Dancing and smiling in the gentle breeze;

Cuckoos started singing Unchained Melody,
With Bees composing Celtic music;

I wondered why this been happening, but
Silently the God's sweetest child set foot on earth;

Never know that this day would be so special, but
It does, as devil's birthday, very many Happy Returns of the Day!

Your birthday is as much as a celebration for me,
As it is for you, maybe more;

I wish for you the best of birthdays, the best one ever,
May each birthday be better than the last;

Most of all, I hope you will always be
As happy as you have made me!

Someone is our life...

I smiled! She smiled!

It was raining! We went to the balcony to enjoy the rain.

It was dark and cold. The sound of the raindrop was romantic and a beautiful girl was standing beside me. She was looking beautiful in her red color frock! Her eyes could easily defeat the sparkling stars. Her curves were drafted in such a way even the beautiful new moon on the third day would doubt its shape. Her lips were sweeter than honeydrops. Her smile was flashing bright than lightning strike did. Truly, she was more beautiful than the night.

I whispered in her ears, ‘Please find me a word to define the word beautiful!’

She blushed.
I smiled and said, ‘You!
She turned pink!

She hugged me and said, ‘I want to live my life with you until the skies become starless.’

‘I am living with you right from the moment I fell in your eyes,’ I stretched my arms around her. She looked into my eyes, which meant ‘I love you forever!’

We fell in the ocean of love and forgot the world around us. We kissed, kissed, and kissed until our foot ached.

Someone from behind whispered my name and said, ‘It is 07:40 AM dude!’

I opened my eyes and realized it was just a dream! Around me were four thick walls and that same room of mine that had witnessed nearly every ‘face’ of mine! And the one I kissed was none other than my pillow. Sad me :-(

Something is always special in life

and this is for my dream one, it continues ! ! ! 'Thirsty Waters'

My hands told me I’m shivering with fear,
When I only thought of saying it to my dear!
Heart became restless and sounded louder,
Seconds before, it was as silent as falling powder.

Thoughts crept into the mind with great force,
Confused, and stopped it from thinking, of course!
I would imagine that future, a few hours away;
That would burden it with my past straightaway.

Carrying an untold love is heavy, indeed;
Courage, real courage is what I need!
Hiding my fear, or hiding myself in fear,
I came to you and looked at you, my dear.

That very sight quenched the restless senses,
Which were thirsty for that real courage!
I became my natural self, totally myself;
And realized you were surely my real self.

No words said, I saw the ‘heavy’ love,
Getting dissolved in us as it reached you!

Something is special for someone and this is special for my dream one

'First Waters' poem published in February 2011 issue of Cynic Online Magazine.

Silently, I waited; I searched for the signs.
I looked all around for myself different from me.

The lavender rays glittering in the air,
Of which the dandelion sun had no share!

The sweetness of time, gone without notice.
All because of the treasure I cannot miss!

The senses submitted themselves to a superior sense,
That rose above and name itself 'Love'.

But the waters are new and the feet are weak.
What if I slipped and got myself drowned?

The light of hope accompanied the thirst;
The fear became an imagination, forgotten first.

Will the light lead me to the sun?
Or blind me with its overpowering force?

I step into the waters trusting the light,
That broke the silence of my searching eyes.
