.....if words cannot help, then what else can???

If you face any difficulty in reading/viewing the image, here it is for you…

The problem in Software Industry – Management is ready to give 100% hike or even more than that to lateral entrants, who are ready to join their concern, but thinks a billion times to give 10% hike to their own loyal talented hardworking employees; “Damn!

If they cannot make their sons and daughters happy then how could they assure or guarantee the happiness of their daughter-in-laws or son-in-laws? Do not let your sons and daughters to be bought, by someone with a price… and please do not sell yourself… ask your heart what you want, address the problem if any, there will be ears to listen, if words cannot help, then what else can?

Give it a thought…

PS: “An idle mind is the devil’s playground” Nah, “An idle mind is the playground for self-realisation!”

After posting the above image on Facebook, I was flooded with messages, few comments, and likes because people are not ready to open up on facebook. This is the issue behind the Indian Software Industry; they never try to address their problems, and finally, they change the company as default solution; some by chance, some by external pressure, which is never a solution, in fact, I’d call it as escapism. Why no one could change this trend?

Recently, I read an article about employee resignations (here) which was quite shocking; around 8k people quit in Q1, and the reason they claim is sterling appraisal, as they felt dejected after they got to know about their poor pay hike, even after being loyal to the company for four years, which is not at all easy to decide.

What pushed them to quit? Poor Salary Hike? Of course it is, because nothing else can be the reason – better salary, better profile; but why not decent salary pay hike, and decent profile progression in the same company. ??? Why this never happens in Indian MNC’s?

Why does management consider an employee as important resource only in the exit interview and why not during an appraisal discussion? Why do first resignation is considered as benchmark for onsite travel and why not their past performance? Why this shit happens everywhere? Do we have a solution for this?

I could find only questions to write, but not the answers! Will someone or I be able to answer this someday?

PS: This post will be updated based on views I gather from facebook and also with experts talks.. Stay tuned!

Share, Tweet, Pin, or Email the post and ask the question to the person whom you wanted to ask for so long.. Let them answer.. Let's bring some change... If not us, then who else?????

... yet another untold story through my lens!

It's my pleasure to narrate a story through my lens. Get ready for yet another untold story...

It was once a beautiful and memorable place in his life. He used to visit with her now and then just to spend time with her. That day, he was alone and his camera clicked that untold story of his life!

He walked all the way from the beach to the Island alone.

The path he walked that day was the path he had some sweet memories with her, those kisses and hugs, Mmmm…

The path was not too dangerous but not that easy to walk, yet he walked once again, alone :(

Those steps were not too cruel because it helped him; she held his hands whenever they had crossed it.

Those ups and downs on the pathway, those small pillars were the places they kissed and hugged!

Those broken pillars were the ones they sat to rest themselves.

Those clicks she loved madly were his best clicks!

He could relive those moments as he walked once again.

He had walked a long way, alone, and for the first time.

He reread the board “Dangerous Building,” might be they should’ve had given heed to it on that disastrous day, but :(

He went inside the Island again

to the beach side,

and to their favorite place!

He saw a couple standing there holding hands; it reminded those old sweet days, when they stood holding each other hands.

And her favorite glasses of his!

the flowers..

and the lonely beach!

And the place where she lost her life, accidentally. That photograph she clicked was the last one clicked by her. Although, he jumped and to save her, she … He searched for her but…

Still even after months he came again, searching for her, but it ended in vain, so he decided to end it

Days passed...

the beach became colorful and people flooded on weekends to enjoy the beautiful picnic spot, but they (he and she) never came back again.

That’s how people are, they forget things easily, as days pass painful memories fade away and new memories starts blooming, whatever lost is still lost, and it is painful only for those who are involved in it, and for everyone else it is just an accident. Stay safe and be safe, because you’ve only one life and only you can care about it! Live your life!

I’m not an expert in photography and I’ve used software to add beauty to my clicks. The concept of the story - The black and white photographs represent his memories and the one he jumps represents both and the rest are what happened that day :)

I did make a video for the same story! Do watch them! Do leave your footprints!

...of fallen petals

What words my lips have said, to lose you, why?
To cry with thy sky, standing all alone,
Wet wind and rain, it reminds of you, moan
Of those nights, to touch you and kiss you – shy!
My hands over you and our eyes speak, my
Lust precedes over love; we're done, unknown!
Ecstasy – O’er your skin, I should've known
What words my lips have said, to lose you, why?

The cute rose blooms on a wet rainy day,
Falls in love with wind, that blows on its face,
Nor knows why wind makes love to it that day:
Yet the rose strips the petals with thy grace,
I'm too late to realize that she is lost,
All I have is fallen petals at last.

Sonnet, It's not easy to write a Sonnet and this one after a long gap, so please pardon me, if I'm wrong anywhere :D Also, I've taken the liberty of repeating the first line as eight line, after considering two of my poetic friends, and they too agreed! I'd be happy to read your footprints :D

The Sonnet Form:

The eight-line stanza, called an octave, uses two rhyme words. The first line rhymes with the fourth, fifth, and eighth lines; the second with the third, sixth, and seventh. (abba abba) In the six-line finale (the sestet), can be of any one of this forms. Either abcabc, ababab or, if you want to summarize in last two lines, ababcc. The above sestet is of form ababcc

Perfect Murder:
He realized she was dead. He untied the lace to remove the polythene cover from her radiant face and he slept with the dead body. Later in the morning, reports said that she died due to breathing difficulty, which caused heart attack. He was the happiest person in the world and that’s a perfect murder!

Romantic Love:
She doubted whether angels exist or not?
‘Of course, angels exist and I live with them,’ he said.
She was surprised a bit, and she asked, ‘Really?
He clarified her saying, ‘Can’t you see an angel here?’
She turned pink on seeing her photograph. He hugged her and said, ‘Sweetheart I love you!’
She echoed!

Two Minutes:
He had been there quite a few times, though it was strange, when he experienced that, he had gone mad. He checked if her breath was normal to reassure that what had happened in the last two minutes were dreams, but that mysterious feeling terrified him. He whispered in her ears, ‘Love You!’ She smiled!
