Day 9 ♥ Happiness is window shopping.

Happiness is window shopping. I am sure most of us will agree. Otherwise each one of us will go bankrupt by the 5th of every month. Shopping and window shopping is a big difference. There is no need to think if I can go inside and check out the clothes or items, or will the shopkeeper shout at me? What if the size does not fit, should I come back from home after trying it on once?

Thanks to new day malls and food courts; they have changed the trend. Get inside, stay in the air-conditioned mall, roam around, eat what you prefer, shop what you like, watch a movie at any time without worrying about "houseful" boards, and most importantly spend time with the family without getting bored. And that's why I like window shopping a lot!

Time for a movie! PINK! #instapic #movieday #movietime #fun #blackandwhite #photoofheday #beardlover #newjourney #dailypic #pink

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

Selfie and you,
My fascination;
Colour or monochrome,
I cherish it the most!

No filters required,
I like true colours;
Did I mention? Yes,
We are a cute couple!

Day 8 ♥ Happiness is visiting historic temples.

Happiness is visiting historic temples

Happiness is visiting historic temples. It’s been a long time since we visited any historic temples. Today, my wife, my friend and I went to Sri Big Bull Temple in Basavanagudi. We reached Central Silk Board Junction around 10 AM and took a cab from there to the temple. Alternatively, you can also go till Banashankari and take a cab from there. We arrived at the temple around 10:30 AM. First, we went to Sri Dodda Ganapati Temple. I’ve never seen such a huge Ganapati idol. It was a great experience. After spending 30 minutes there, we walked to the Bull Temple, which is right next to the Ganapati Temple.

I have no words to describe the calmness inside the temple. The beautifully decorated, huge Nandi (Bull), the green surroundings, and the very friendly pujaris added to the experience. We spent a good amount of time there and came out of the temple to take some photographs. We even shopped outside the temple. It was a calm and serene place.

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

What do I say?
How can I tell you?
My love is only for you,
Love and love only!

Day 7 ♥ Happiness is owning a fitness tracker band.

Happiness is owning a fitness tracker band. If happiness could be measured just like how a fitness band measures sleep, steps, running and heartbeat data, then today would be one of the best days of my life. There are many reasons for this, one of which is owning a fitness tracker band. Fitness tracker bands come in different sizes and shapes, but the best one, in my opinion, is the Mi Band 2. It doesn't need any introduction, but I will say that this band tracks your steps, heartbeat, sleep, calories burned, and much more. It also notifies you of calls, alarms, messages, WhatsApp, and more. It even serves as a smart lock. All in one band, and at an affordable price.

I'm sure the data collected is of no use, but it still gives me inspiration to do better than yesterday. Isn't that a good reason to buy one?

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

Oh dear, oh dear,
You are my cheer;
Year after year,
I cement this clear.

Oh love, oh love,
You are my dove;
Hugs, kisses and love,
That binds us all above.

Day 6 ♥ Happiness is talking to a friend who makes you feel better

Happiness is talking to a friend who makes you feel better

Happiness is talking to a friend who makes you feel better. The frustration built up yesterday due to a series of events that shadowed today as well. However, all of it changed when one of my close friends called me on the phone. We spoke from start to finish, shouting in happiness and recalling funny incidents that happened in April when I visited Munich. It was so much fun! I hope this fun continues until the end.

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

Sweetie pie, books and you,
Are one and the same;
Mesmerising and lovable,
All the time!

Sweetie pie, words and love,
Are one and the same;
Both are my lifeline,
Forever and always!

Day 5 ♥ Happiness is getting support when you are upset

Happiness is getting support when you're upset. Today, I was upset for various reasons and I don't want to go into detail. But I'm extremely happy now because of the support I received from different people for different things. I don't have the words to thank you all. So, I'm dedicating this post to everyone who supported me today and helped me change my mood. Love you all :)

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

Life has its ups and downs,
We're all in the same boat;
Searching for a positive change,
Hoping that God will listen to us!

Mood and luck swing,
Fate twists and turns;
Could this be our lucky charm?
Hoping that God will listen to us!

Day 4 ♥ Happiness is eating ice-cream on a rainy day

Happiness is eating ice cream on a rainy day. On top of it, when you have a cold and a running nose is absolutely insane. And that's what I did today. I ate Rum Jamaica from Polar Bear, my favorite flavor, and then got drenched in the rain. This is absolute madness, but I love doing this.

Are you one of those crazy ice cream addicts like me? Stay proud!

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

You are my chocolate,
I am your spicy pickle;
You are my sprinkles,
I am your green chillies.

You are my teddy bear,
I am your pillow;
You are my pullover,
I am your quilt.

You are my sweetie pie,
I am your sweetheart!
You are my words,
I am your poem.

Love… live… love.

Day 3 ♥ Happiness is teasing our close ones

Happiness is teasing our close friends. I often tease my close ones and I enjoy it. Vidhya and I have been married for three years and eight months, and there hasn't been a single day without me teasing her. In fact, my wish list includes a day without teasing Vidhya. And this extends to my close friends as well.

Have you heard of Quick Ride? One of my colleagues was using it a lot and the app makers placed his photograph and achievements on a hoarding at our work place. We teased him by taking pictures of him with the hoarding and it led to other things. In short, we had a great time :)

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

Even if the sky goes starless,
My pranks will never end,
Because I love to do this,
And make everyone smile without hurting anyone.

Let's continue to spread smiles,
No matter what happens,
Always remember in life
To keep smiling and cherishing memories in life.

Day 2 ♥ Happiness is Running 5K ♥ Spirit of Wipro Run

Happiness is running 5 kilometers powered by ambition, both the ambition of the organization and the individual. I am particularly happy to stress the word "individual" because I ran for myself. Many of my family and friends would not believe that I lost weight in the past eight months. Some may even laugh and say, "When did you gain weight to lose it?" However, the truth is that I worked hard to lose weight.

Last year, I weighed 75+ kilograms. If I recall correctly, I was 76 kilograms. This was the result of sitting for more than 14 hours a day. From morning 7:30 or 8:00 AM until 4:00 or 4:30 PM in the office, and from 5:00 PM to 9:15 PM in school learning German. After that, my wife Vidhya and I would go home, have dinner, and sleep. This was our routine for six months. The result was weight gain, which we happily accepted because we both cleared the B1 German language exam with a high score. However, later we realized that we had gained too much weight and needed to lose some. It was the toughest phase of our life and it still continues to be. I chose to run and cycle, while Vidhya chose home remedies and workouts. This helped us lose weight. Vidhya lost 6 kilograms and I lost 12 kilograms. We are happy with the results, but Vidhya needs to lose a few more kilograms to be completely fit.

Today, when I clocked 5 kilometers in 32 minutes, I felt great and thanked the stars. Although I run at least once a week, it was still amazing to do it with 15,000 runners. Thanks to Wipro for making this happen. Wipro rocks! I didn't bring my mobile, so I couldn't take any photos of myself, but I'm sure I'll find at least ten photos of me on social media. Once I find, I shall upload :)

A click before leaving to Wipro Run!

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

You and me,
Like the moon and stars,
Smile in the night;
Happiness at its height!

We are one,
Entwined in love,
Forever and ever;
Happily ever after!

This is for us,
For the love we share,
It is beyond words;
Happy as birds!

#550 ♥ Day 1 ♥ Happiness is Writing a Song ♥ On A Friday Night

I start with a great determination to blog regularly, but in the process of doing many things, I miss out on being regular. It doesn't sound good, but that's the reality. Last year, I started 101 Days of Happiness with zeal, but failed to complete it. For whatever reason, I didn't complete it. This year, I am more determined to blog for 50 days... 50 Days of Happiness! I am sure of this, I am going to get this done this year.

When I have more reasons to smile, why should I bother expressing it? The results of Shades of Life II results came out last week. Only 8% made it to the winner's list, and what follows from them is real happiness. To multiply the happiness, I chose an innovative way to get to know each other. Although it was partially successful, as many authors didn't join the game, I am still very happy with the way we interacted. The outcome of this is the song below, which I scribbled instantly when Swati and Pratibha asked me to dedicate a song. I'm glad I wrote it!

This is my 550th post, and I am hoping to end this 100 Days of Happiness with my 649th post! Here you go... Happiness is Writing a Song!

On a Friday night,
This girl asks me to write,
A song for us... one that will touch the heart,
Dive deep into the world of words...
Mesmerize and create a tune composed with love.
How can I say no?
I remember the time
I used to write for my dream girl,
And for my real girl...
I hug them tight
Whenever I write.

Somebody wants me to write truly,
Somebody loves to read my song madly;
And somebody in my dreams inspires me to write.
My girl warms me tight to write...

Somebody's me,
That Someone is Special to me!
...oh yeah!

This is for you, because you asked.
This is for you, because you inspire me.
This is for you, because you are my life.
This love will keep me energized until my last breath...
Until then, I will keep writing.

Someone wants me to write truthfully,
Someone loves to read my songs madly;
And I love living in the world of words.
It's just me and my words,
A deep connection.
Just words and I,
On those beautiful nights.
I write, write, and write...

On a Friday night,
This girl asked me to write;
A song for us that will touch the heart.
Oh yeah, I love this challenge!
So I scribbled this song.

Someone is me,
That someone is special to me!
...Oh yeah!

When Hubby Shed A Silent Tear

It hurts when you fail to understand me.
It hurts when you stop speaking with me.
It hurts when you hurt me for petty reasons.
It hurts when you build walls with your egos.

Without you, I cannot imagine life; tears are my friends.
Without you, words dry up and silence fills me.

Info:- 55-Fiction refers to fictional writings bounded to a maximum of 55 words.

This week I am back with another 55-Fiction. Silent Tear series, is all about tears and the value given to it. In simple words, it is all about when someone shed a tear of either happiness or sadness. Thank you in advance for reading.

This post is a tribute to Late G-Man, the man behind my love for writing 55-Fiction. Keep reading and keep watching this space for more surprises.
