~ and yeah 'DOVE' did the trick ~

Marriages are made in heaven but it is in the hands of couple to bond with each other to live in heaven. In India, arranged marriages are more common in practice where a Marriage Matching Centre or a website acts as an intermediate between two families. They interact with each other and the process goes on like, ‘Boy’s family send his photo to Girl’s family. Girl’s family, if they like the photo they will see if the horoscope matches and if it matches, they send photo to Boy’s family. Boy’s family will see if the horoscope matches and if it matches, and if the Boy and his family likes the photo they will fix a date to visit Girl’s family Home. Boy’s family and Girl’s family will interact with each other. If both the families are ok with the dowry, and little other stuff, they fix the engagement date. On the day of engagement, they paint the Girl and the Boy as if they belong to some foreign nations. They will do some pooja and will fix the marriage date. If both the Boy and Girl are lucky, they will have at least a month's time before marriage but in few cases, they will fix in a week. And on the day of marriage, everything goes as per schedule, and the relatives wish the couple to live for hundred years and they go off.' They never bother whether the couple likes each other or not and what is their mind state. Now it is in the hands of couple to bond with each other to create a heaven because “Love is a two way street: Express love to your love to live a lovely married life.

That’s what happened in the life of Siddesh and Isha. The newlywed couple reached the buzzing city Bangalore just a week ago. Morning is chill in Bangalore but Monday mornings are blues everywhere. I, Siddesh, not an exception to deny it but my fate; I have to reach office on time even on Mondays.

Ohi… Good Morning! How are you dude?’ Karthik said,

I am ok Karthik. How are you? Did you take your paper (resignation) back? Whether the demons agreed to your requests?

It’s all done. Tell me... How is your new life?
It’s ok man

Just ok is not excepted from a romantic writer like you, actually I expected few write-up's man

Well, there was nothing to write man.

Nothing...’ he became serious and started to ask ‘what happened’ but.. I was not able to answer him. How to say him that it is difficult to bond with a stranger in less than two weeks that too if the girl is too shy.

Then Honeymoon…
I learnt how to admire moon all night in Honeymoon’ I smiled, he advised me to spend time with her. I know I have to but, always the words after but suck

In the evening, he came to my desk, ‘Are you going by cab? If you wish I can drop you’.

Come let’s go’ I said and we started from office in his bike.

Oh God! This is too dusty man, already I lost my hair's, and if I travel in bike then that’s the end

What happened to your car?
If you are a bachelor, you can enjoy driving your car, but if you are married then you can’t because the petrol rate sucks.

What happened to your calculations then?
It holds good only if I am bachelor dude.’ Ok ok... Cool down... I won’t irritate you much. ‘Thanks dude’, I said, he wished me good luck for the day.

Hi. Good Evening!’ I said, she said ‘Hi’, and that’s all, I lost myself in her eyes and she was looking damn romantic.

Hello… Where are you?’ she waved her hands before me, that’s when I realized I lost myself in her romantic eyes. I want to say that I lost myself in her romantic eyes but the words after ‘but’ usually suck... We had our dinner discussing about our day, but I had my dinner researching her beautiful lips and after completing our dinner I helped her in cleaning the dining table and in kitchen, I called her, ‘Isha’, ‘Hahh’ she turned, I felt butterflies flying in my stomach on seeing her eyes but somehow gained courage, and sealed her lips with mine. It lasted long enough for three tasteful minutes but my hand was struck in her hair's spoiling our first romantic encounter.

*****

Ohi... You look so happy… did something happen?’ Karthik said,

Well! Something happened....’ I said, he started teasing me like anything, I said, ‘She must be feeling the same. I think there should be some girl troubling her as if you trouble me.

*****

Did something happen?’ Shakshi questioned me,

Finally, he kissed me
Wow! Wow! Are you happy?

WTF! My hair spoiled our first romantic encounter, I just hate my hair

So sad dear, I can feel your issue because that’s what happened to me too. Hmm, Let me tip you

Tips... Cool let me note it down...

Here goes the tip…

1. If you are taking head bath then we are not suppose to use hair dryer if the hair is very wet, I mean watery.
2. Use coconut oil as a conditioner instead of stupid conditioners available in the market and apply them 2 or 3 hours before you take head bath.
3. Use curry leaves because they are good for hair.
4. Use marigold leaves paste before head bath because it gives natural black color to hair
5. Most importantly use curd at least twice a week to keep your hair nourished.

That’s all’

Let me try the same…

He seems to be in romantic mood today. So let me give a try, I said, ‘Hi! How was your day?

Good. How was yours?’ he said,

Not bad’, I smiled, I went inside the living room, changed ma dress, followed few tips before taking head bathe, dressed up pleasantly, and when I came out to the hall, I saw him sleeping in the couch.

‘WTF! Why did he marry me? I want to kill him but..., the words after but always suck…'

*****

Hey you look so sad... What happened dear?’ Shahsi asked me tapping my shoulder.

I followed your tips and the entire process took four hours to get ready.

Cool, so that’s the moment.

What so Cool in it... He slept in the couch itself. That’s when I realized the time was twelve so I let him sleep

Sad, it will be better if you leave by 3 from office. Create an environment as if Chitti creates in Endhiran Movie. I am sure it will work

Let me try my best’, I said,

*****

Machi, It seems you slept nicely..
Don’t torture me

OMG, you are very much angry. What happened dude?

She same to home, went inside the bed room and that’s all
That’s all ah..…

Idiot... Idiot... I meant she did not come out itself. I waited until 11 30 PM then I slept in the couch itself. Life sucks dude’, he kept silent and so I… In the evening, we started little early as it is a weekend and as usual, he dropped me at my place.

Hi... You had come soon… Good…’ I said, she smiled, ‘yeah… yeah… this new environment spoils my hair so I am planning to follow few tips to nourish it.

Cool…’ I said, stupid, you want to nourish your hair but not your life. I opened my sweet lappy after a long time to pen few things. Most of us use Google as their homepage but I myself prefer to have IndiBlogger as my homepage because I wanted stay in touch with all my blog pals.

The moment the page opened, I saw, ‘Win a Gift Hamper from Dove’, ‘Oh Good! You will get gift hampers also! Cool’ she said, I, then realized she was standing behind me, so to create a magical moment I turned towards her side saying, ‘Not always’, ‘But will it be good’, she questioned, ‘Anything that comes as a gift is good.’ I said and registered for the gift hamper.

Agreed’, she said and went inside; I was frustrated because my master plan flapped. Moreover, she will take hours to come out. I reversed back to my seat to see the same lappy itself. After sometime, she came out of the room dressed like an angel. I could not control myself, so went ahead, and started kissing her. This time it was her mom's call spoiled our moment.

Mom... How are you...? Good Mom... and the Ramayana continued....’ she went online to speak with her parents, and I have to sleep alone. Not only was the night spoiled but also the weekend because her relatives visited us to shower their blessings but what for??

There were more of turn-off’s than turn-on mainly because of our misunderstanding and our poor hair's. And in IT industry you hardly have time to romance if a week falls under project production or release, I am sure one will be screwed up in these times and so I, I think even God wants me to stay Hungry.

*****

He is very busy with his work, Project Release it seems’ I said,

No worry… Just wait for the weekend, but make sure this time no one is visiting’ Shakshi said,

Sure... Have to, and I think even God wanted me to stay like this

I wish this weekend will do wonders for you’, Shakshi said, I smiled...

'I wish the same but see, still my hair is bad, and I don't think the tips will help me because the pollution is too heavy here...

*****

Hubby!’ she sounded romantic, ‘Hey’, my voice trembled because that is the first she called me Hubby… We have received a gift hamper from Dove. The products look very cool and they are Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo, Dove Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner, Dove Nourishing Oil Care Vita Oil Serum, and Dove Nourishing Oil Care Repair mask. I am sure this is going to help us to pamper our hair's.’ She was happy because she loves her hair's a lot. I am happy too because she is happy. I spoke a lot with her because only if we understand each other then we can create a heaven in this hell and I learnt one thing from the conversation, ‘she is a kid’. She made me happy with her cute reactions and sounds. Wow! what a girl she is...!

Shall we try this Dove Nourishing Oil Care Repair mask and Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo today?

That’s a good idea. Let me try,' I said.

I took a fresh head bath using Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo; it was fantastic, truly… Then I used Dove Nourishing Oil Care Repair mask, waited for 5 minutes as directed in website, rinsed my hair, it really nourished my hair because I can feel the smoothness. I was very much happy because after a long time I felt that my hair was good. I came out and shared my experience with her. She was excited on hearing me so she went inside to pamper her lovely hair. I used the comb after so many years to style my hair. Because few years back, I heard that if you use comb to comb your hair then it might damage the hair root, which will result in hair loss and from day I stopped using comb but today I am confident that Dove will protect my hair so I happily combed my hair. I was very happy because my hair's become so soft just after one wash which was quite unbelievable, and the other reason is my mom. I am sure she will he happy if she comes to know that I combed my hair. ‘Wow!’

While I was admiring my hair before the mirror, an angel came inside the living room. She looked very romantic in her wet hair's and without much delay; I grabbed her, floated her on the bed, and was ready to have my first go. First, I tasted her mel and then followed the beautiful way that took me through. Her hair's are very soft to hold, which helped a lot in making love.

*****

Breathing heavily she said, ‘Love you!’ I looked deep into her eyes and said, ‘I LOVE YOU TOO!’ and after few seconds I said, ‘You have romantic eyes,’ she blushed more, and I continued…

Stop!’ ‘What?’ ‘I have a question’ she said. ‘Question?

How many girlfriends you have?’ she said, ‘Girlfriends? I don’t have any....and is this the time to ask..

Hmm don't lie.. Then who is Hassini & Sonam? I read those names in your write-ups.’ she said,

Idiot they are just my dream characters. You are my only girlfriend, lover, wife, and my heart’s queen

Dream characters? But your stories sound real. Did you win any prizes?

I do, I have won so many hearts, which materialistic prizes can never equal and I am happy because that is a writer’s dream. People should feel the characters when they read it. I am happy I did that many times. Idiot, I said you are my queen..

Hmmm, you are damn romantic…! I have to say this.. I am a lucky girl..’ I happily sealed her lips because I was on Cloud Nine. ‘You know what I just love my hair's. Please recite a poem about my hair's na

Your hair is like dark rain clouds,
with blissful strands dancing here and there,
it sprinkles pure love on me!

Your hair is like the alluring air,
with twists, curls, and it beams forward,
to remind me of celestial bodies!

Your hair is like a kite,
hanging in the street lamps that flicker,
it masks your eyes to create ecstasy!

Your hair hanging like a fruit,
ripen, and spreads sweet aroma,
and it invites me to eat you!

Your hair is so soft like a teddy bear,
the more I hug, the more it reciprocates,
to spreads love between us!

Your hair is like a fire,
with stunning eyes and stances,
I feel so hot underneath it!

Your hair is the hair,
when I run my hands, I feel so delighted and
it excites me as if my soul is in the galaxy!

Your hair and its fragrance,
Makes me long for your hair, and for your soul,
Like a water flowing from a perennial river.

Your hair and my love,
Is the one reason I wish to live for…

Wow, the poem is too _______. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH HUBBY…’ she said and sealed my lips.

I was happy because DOVE not only nourished our hair's but also it nourished our life. Life is not only romancing but the intimacy starts only when you romance and that’s when you will experience what is a lovely marriage life is and yeah DOVE did the trick… It helped us to bond with each other to create a heaven because “Love is a two way street: Express love to your love to live a lovely married life.”

யார் இந்த போதிதர்மன்? Who is Bodhidharma?

Who is this Bodhidharma?’ If you ask this question to anyone in India then the answer from most of them would be "Never heard of this name" or "First time, I am hearing this name", so is the state of people in India. I am not an exception because I myself learnt about Bodhidharma only a few months back. The reason is because I started to explore more about Tamil, Tamil Literature and History; otherwise, it's the same story.

(போதிதர்மன்) Bodhidharma (Da Mo in Chinese, Daruma in Japanese) who visited china as a Buddhist monk during 520 A.D is traditionally credited as the leading patriarch and transmitter of Zen (Chinese: Chán, Sanskrit: Dhyāna) to China. According to Chinese legend, he also began the physical training of the Shaolin monks that led to the creation of Shaolinquan. (From wiki).

But who was Bodhidharma and where did he come from? Bodhidharma was a Tamilan from South India, born as a 3rd prince of the Pallava dynasty in their capital of Kanchipuram of Tamil Nadu, India. After becoming a Buddhist monk, Bodhidharma travelled to China by means of land. After three years he reached there and upon bringing Chan to China, he became the first Chinese patriarch and all subsequent Chinese Chan and Japanese Zen masters trace their master-disciple lineages back to him. Bodhidharma then left for the north, reportedly crossing the Yangtze River on a boat and arrived at the Shao-lin Temple. Finding the residents physically weak and prone to the attack of local bandits, he taught them self-defence, from which evolved the famous Shao-lin style of martial arts. {Source: Buddhism Dictionary. A Dictionary of Buddhism, Oxford University Press, 2003, 2004}. Throughout Buddhist art, Bodhidharma is depicted as a rather ill-tempered, profusely bearded and wide-eyed barbarian. He is described as ‘The Blue-Eyed Barbarian’ in Chinese texts.

The two accounts reveal about Blue-Eyes Barbarian... (From wiki)

Yang Xuànzhī

The Record of the Buddhist Monasteries of Luoyang (洛陽伽藍記 Luòyáng Qiélánjì), was compiled in 547 by Yáng Xuànzhī 楊衒之, a writer and translator of Mahāyāna Buddhist texts into the Chinese language.

At that time there was a monk of the Western Region named Bodhidharma, a Persian Central Asian. He travelled from the wild borderlands to China. Seeing the golden disks [on the pole on top of Yǒngníng's stupa] reflecting in the sun, the rays of light illuminating the surface of the clouds, the jewel-bells on the stupa blowing in the wind, the echoes reverberating beyond the heavens, he sang its praises. He exclaimed: ‘Truly this is the work of spirits.’ He said: ‘I am 150 years old and I have passed through numerous countries. There is virtually no country I have not visited. Even the distant Buddha-realms lack this.’ He chanted homage and placed his palms together in salutation for days on end

Broughton (1999:55) dates Bodhidharma's presence in Luoyang to between 516 and 526, when the temple referred to—Yǒngníngsì (永寧寺)—was at the height of its glory. Starting in 526, Yǒngníngsì suffered damage from a series of events, ultimately leading to its destruction in 534.

Tánlín

The second account was written by Tánlín (曇林; 506–574). Tánlín's brief biography of the ‘Dharma Master’ is found in his preface to the Two Entrances and Four Acts, a text traditionally attributed to Bodhidharma and the first text to identify Bodhidharma as South Indian:

The Dharma Master was a South Indian of the Western Region. He was the third son of a great Indian king of the Pallava Dynasty. His ambition lay in the Mahayana path, and so he put aside his white layman's robe for the black robe of a monk [...] Lamenting the decline of the true teaching in the outlands, he subsequently crossed distant mountains and seas, travelling about propagating the teaching in Han and Wei.

Tánlín's account was the first to mention that Bodhidharma attracted disciples, specifically mentioning Dàoyù (道育) and Huìkě (慧可), the latter of who would later figure very prominently in the Bodhidharma literature.

Tánlín has traditionally been considered a disciple of Bodhidharma, but it is more likely that he was a student of Huìkě, who in turn was a student of Bodhidharma.

Also, the book ‘Trust in Mind’ provides an interesting insight into the arrival of Bodhidharma to China and the events that transpired. It confirms that he meditated in the temple of Shaolin for 9 years and the evolution of Chan or Zen (Dhyan or Dhyanam). There is also a reference in(The Essentials of Buddhist Philosophy -Junjiro Takakusu) that he was from Kanchipuram, and is the third son of the king. He is known as Da Mo in Chinese or Daruma Daishi in Japanese. {Sources: Google Books}.

The sources also confirm that the famous Shaolin style of martial arts evolved from his teachings that are actually a combination of Varmakalai and Kalaripayattu.

What has Bodhidharma to do with tea and Daruma dolls? The story is very beautiful. He was meditating for nine years facing a wall. Nine years, facing the wall, he seems that he was infuriated at his difficulty in keeping awake while silently meditating, and legend has it that he ripped off his eyelids and threw them down to the ground, where they sprouted as tea plants (Oh My God!). Bodhidharma). That is why when you drink tea, Bodhidharma enters you and protects you from falling asleep, such divine is our tea, and so have a sip whenever you wish to. In addition, his legs seemingly withered away because of his constant sitting pose. This is the stated origin of the Daruma doll, a Japanese egg shaped doll that tilts back upright when knocked over. Its wide-open eyes and lack of legs come from the legends of Bodhidharma

The death of Bodhidharma is still a puzzle because according to few sources, ‘He was given the poisoned food by villagers which he detected it and when he asked them why. The villagers told him that if they bury his body in their land then their village would be disease-free so according to their will he ate the poisoned food and was buried in the Chinese mountains.

Three years after Bodhidharma’s death, Ambassador Song Yun of northern Wei is said to have seen him walking while holding a shoe at the Pamir Heights. Song Yun asked Bodhidharma where he was going, to which Bodhidharma replied, ‘I am going home’. When asked why he was holding his shoe, Bodhidharma answered, ‘You will know when you reach Shaolin monastery. Don't mention that you saw me or you will meet with disaster’. After arriving at the palace, Song Yun told the emperor that he met Bodhidharma on the way. The emperor said Bodhidharma was already dead and buried and had Song Yun arrested for lying. At the Shaolin Temple, the monks informed them that Bodhidharma was dead and had been buried in a hill behind the temple. The grave was exhumed and was found to contain a single shoe. The monks then said ‘Master has gone back home’ and prostrated three times. For nine years, he had remained and nobody knew him; carrying a shoe in hand, he went home quietly and few sources reveal that he lives in Himalayas. (not sure of this info).

So, if you like this post then read a similar post here. Tamil history is very vast and if you start exploring it then you will be amazed. I am actually exploring few for the past six months because of the inspiration from one of my close friends. If you wish I could share those info's too. Here is a sample that will make you go mad...

Whether it could be the old woman?’ my heart was wishing so but that someone was…

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Why I am wandering like a cloud? Do I miss her a lot? What pushes me to search her indefinitely in the streets of London? Is she my destiny? I hope I will meet her someday but when that someday will come. Lot of questions but when will I find the answer?

Wandering lonely as a cloud,
I began my search in the road.
With hope as the weapon, I
search her, no, not my eye.
What did I reap? What did I sow?
Why my life has no glow?
Will I meet her? Never or now
Destiny or not only God know!

I was happy to see a woman enjoying the lines in my book, ‘Dream Love’ while I was waiting for the old woman. I wait for the old woman just because we belong to a goodhearted people category and the wait is worth because at least once in two days I enjoy someone enjoying my lines.

Hi.. Do you love these lines?

I do… If you believe in true love then you have to read this book for sure’ she said, ‘I will... Because I trust love’ I said her before leaving from the park. Two weeks have gone but I am not able to meet the old woman. ‘Will my wait will be over tomorrow?’

Hello! ... Young man, are you ok? Hello…’ the words kept on resonating in my mind and it made park to wait for the old woman indefinitely.

Someone touched me from the back, ‘Grandma! Finally, you are here! I am happy to see you!

Son! I am happy too! I read a book last week. It is one of the best books so far I read in my life, and particularly the lineIF FATE CAN BE REWRITTEN THEN I WOULD REWRITE HER AS MY DESTINY’ and the last paragraph, is very touching. I can feel the writer’s pain, I meant yours....

I was not sure what to say so kept silent... Did you enjoy the week?

'Of course, I was happy on seeing the huge response from the readers, which is a writer’s dream.' She was happy to see me excited so she said, You seems to be very very happy and excited. I am sure it has more reasons.

Of course I am.. and I was dying to tell you about my life.

Life?

Yeah’, after enjoying the function I went to pub and from there to my place. I slept peacefully after a long time because I was happy.

Goood… Thennn....

The next day was raining heavily which made me upset because I know I cannot meet you in the heavy rain but I waited for the rain to stop because I wanted to meet you Grandma. Suddenly Aamir shouted that someone has come to meet you. I was happy because I thought it was you but...

but....

'but that someone was…Hassini’, as soon as I came out of my room I was surprised to see her. I wanted to hug and kiss her madly but I cannot because I am no more in her life, with tears, I said a ‘Hi

She came running towards me, hugged, kissed me and said, ‘I said a lie.’ On hearing her, my heartbeat stopped for a second, I thanked God because I know she is my destiny, I happily hugged and kissed her.

What made you to lie?

Because I promised my dad.

Promise?... then what made you to break the promise today?

My Dad wished so... After reading your book he felt what real love is?’ I was happy to hear her because I know she is my destiny, my life...

Speak not... Instead show how much you love’ she said and so I…

'Wow! The happiest couple in the world :-) God bless you Son, I have to leave now because it may rain.' the old woman said and left the park..

***************************************************************
after 7 years…
***************************************************************

We met the same old woman in the park. ‘Grandma do you remember me?

'I do... Is she Hassini?

Yeah... she is... and this is our daughter Isha....’ I was happy to meet her so exclaimed about our life. She became happy and blessed us to live long saying, What a love story....

Author's Message: My dear friends! I thank everyone for reading all the seven parts. It is my pleasure to have you all here and I thank you for the same.. I personally feel that I didn't do justice to the title because I felt 5th and 6th was missing something, yes, I do skipped many dialogues, scenes which I wanted to write and the reason is I don't want to make you people wait. :-) Hope it came out good.. Fingers crossed....

Did you find her?’, the old woman eyes waited for a 'Yes' desperately

‘Yes... I was lucky enough to find my girl’

‘That must be the moment of your life right? Where did you meet her?’ the old woman said with a happy face…

‘Hmm... I met her in a beautiful place known for its maritime history, the town that became the site of Royal Palace, Greenwich’ I was excited on seeing her so even the place became close to my heart.

‘Wow! Great!’ The old woman became excited!

Just for a minute my eyes froze, heart started flying towards her but she broke the silence, ‘Hi!’ she said with tears

‘Hi’ I said with tears of joy. (PS: These moments cannot be expressed in words so try to imagine it) I hate the big gap between us because I wanted to hug and kiss her completely.

‘I never thought I will meet you in London’

‘But... I was sure that I will meet you because my love is true Hassini!’ she became silent...

‘How are your parents?’ she said…

‘Good. How are your parents?

‘They are happy because her daughter hears to what they say?’ a teardrop fell down when she said this. I kept silent because I was not sure what to say because I was happy to the maximum.

‘So... Did you achieve your dream? Novelist?’

‘Yeah... Dream Love. I will be publishing the book in a month or two.’

‘Cool... Finally, you have done it. I am happy for you!’

‘Thanks....’ I was waiting for a single word but...

‘So... Dream love! Good who is the special girl? I know you should have fallen in love with someone.’ I wanted to slap her at that moment itself but I didn’t do it so I kept silent.

‘What? I am waiting for your answer but you are silent’

I was about to say, ‘it’s U’ but she said… ‘Please don’t say it’s me because I…’

‘Sid, what are you doing here? We are searching for you for the past two hours even we tried to reach you on your mobile but it is not reachable. Everyone is waiting for you at the convention centre for the novel release.’ Aamir, my friend said.

‘I just realized it Aamir, come let’s start.’ I stood up, ‘Grandma, I have to leave now because I am already late. We will meet here tomorrow evening.’ I said

‘But... I will be waiting for you son....’ the old woman said with tears.

I was not sure what to say so left the place because I know the old woman understood her answer. Aamir raced his car to the centre because we were already late by half an hour. ‘You... Come out of the dream world. I have agreed to the publication request of 100 signed copies. I mean I have said that you agreed to it over phone.’

‘That’s cool dude.’ I said happily. We reached the place within ten minutes. The function started with special events and followed by the release of the novel.

‘Are you happy?’ Aamir asked me after the function.

‘Of course I am happy because my first novel has sold good. ’

‘You are a lucky writer man... Stay happy! PS: Always…’ he said and drove the car to the pub. After enjoying the evening in the pub, Aamir dropped me in my home by 11 in the night. I was so tired but my heart wanted to check the mailbox for mails from the readers. It took almost an hour to read the mails that made me to sleep late. As soon as I woke up, I learnt it is raining heavily. I waited for the rain to stop but the rain God does not wish to stop. I know I will be meeting the old woman one day to disclose what had happened in my life.

‘Someone has come to meet you Sid. Come soon.’ Aamir shouted.

‘Whether it could be the old woman?’ my heart was wishing so but that someone was…

First time here? Missed? No worry :-) Read PART 1, PART 2, PART 3 and PART 4 before reading the PART 5...!

'What happened to her? Did you meet her?', the old woman said with tears in her eyes

Hassini!’ I kept on murmuring her name in ICU. It took three days for me to gain my conscious back and when I opened my eyes, I saw my mom sobbing for me to open my eyes. Nothing can equal Mom’s love and my mom is a perfect example for it. ‘Mom’, I said, she hugged me in joy! I was discharged after a week and was advised to take bed rest for a month.

Sri and our gang visited me often that helped me to learn about Hassini and it was shocking too. Her house remains locked right from the day I was hit by the gangsters and on the same day her father received her transfer certificate too it seems. It all sounded like nightmare to me but it was not..

Sid. Never shed a tear for what you lost because if she is your destiny then no one can take her away from you. The moon may stay hidden in the clouds but if time comes then it is all yours! Take good care of yourself! Do your best!’ My mom said these golden words when I started to college after a month. I as usual nodded my head because never ever I said no to my parents wish and so they…

‘Your mom is very precious! You are lucky but what happened to her?’ the old woman said,

It was very hard to live a life without her but I had too. It was hurting so I decided to break into her house because I was sure she would have left clue for me. And as planned our gang broke into her house because I had done it many times at midnight to meet her. So I followed the same technique to reach her room. I found a letter under our secret chamber.

‘Letter? Good.. Where did she go?’ the old woman said with lots of anxiety.

The whole world went blank after reading her letter. Tears… there was no reason to stop it. I wanna live my life with her… 'Hassini.. Hassini' I screamed :-( Life became miserable but thank God, Sridevi was with me. She was my hope, her words made me believe that one day I will meet Hassini and that’s why, I successfully completed my college life. Glad I got my job in the last semester itself. Life was Sri, Sri Sri then... Her friendship was the only weapon I had in my life and it kept me motivated always!

Life is a plain sheet of paper. People used to fill it with tears and smiles. I was not an exception to deny it because life is a mixture of emotions! My parents were happy because I got into one of the top IT concerns of India but... God once again left us in pain by the name of recession. Life once again became miserable and I spent most of the time sitting in the park bench thinking about her.

Sid! God wants to bless you better so wait for your turn’, Sri used to motivate me and as she said I got my chance. I grabbed it to prove myself. I do succeeded in it. I meant I grabbed the opportunity when my concern gave us a call back. I did my best to rock in my team that won me many awards. Not only I concentrated in my career but also I was writing a novel, “Dream Love!” I was enjoying my life in my new company with Sri but... at least once in a day the name Hassini flashed in my heart. I know one day I will meet her so I waited for that day.

Days rolled on like seconds with Sridevi’s company and our intimacy grew strong. She became more of my life and her friendship was one of the best things that happened in my life. One day she said me happy news…

Hassini is in London… I just learnt from one of her family relatives but I couldn’t get more info dear :-)’ I was happy because in the past five years this was the best good news my ears have heard. I had no words to thank her because that many times I have thanked her.

I wished to fly to London but will God grant me the wish?’ I said some million times to Sri... and as my Mom and Sri said, ‘God will....’ and it happened. I was selected for an onsite assignment in London by my concern and I too travelled within few days to London.

London... London… London... a dream comes true moment when I set my foot here... I was jumping in joy because I know I will meet her for sure.

‘Did you find her?’, the old woman eyes waited for a 'Yes' desperately

World Food Day - Blog Action Day - 2011

BlogJunta - An ode to the Blogosphere

Dear Friends,

I cordially welcome you to Few Miles! Today in association with BAD, I am writing about Food.

Firstly, what is BAD? BAD is Blog Action Day, an annual event that unites the world’s bloggers in posting about the same issue on the same day. Our aim is to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion around an important issue that impacts us all.

Secondly, Why to write about FOOD? This year Blog Action Day coincides with World Food Day (16th October), a time that focuses the world’s attention on food, something we all have in common.

What is Food? According to Wiki, Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals.

What is World Food Day? World Food Day was established by FAO’s Member Countries in November 1979. The World Food Day theme for 2011 is "Food prices - from crisis to stability".

How important is Food?
Food is usually ingested by an organism (human or any) and assimilated by the body's cells in an effort to produce energy, maintain life, and to stimulate growth. A human being can survive up to 21 days of total starvation but it again depends on how healthy he/she is.

What is the reason for starvation?
The reason for starvation for Food could be either lack of rainwater, poor cultivation land, or it could be any. If it is because of nature then it is difficult to find a solution but if the reason is Government then what to do?

Flash News: “India Food Prices Edge Higher” “Onion, Petrol and Beer Costs Rs 70” “Food inflation rate goes high” “Tens of thousands of people have gathered in India's capital to protest surging food prices” “Onion prices goes high, 100/KG” and the story goes on...

Why this is happening only in developing countries like India? If the theme of this year’s World Food Day is to change from crisis to stability then it should be followed everywhere right? I wish it to be... because people who earn 100 Rs per day are starving for food and shelter.

What are the impacts of starvation?
A picture is worth a thousand words...” Here are few of the pictures that will show what reality is.

Tears? I had starved for food for many days in my childhood because my sweet family is richer than richest in love and affection but was poor in terms of monetary values. With God’s grace and our hard work made us, what we are today but it is not the same for all individuals in developing nations. So try to help the poor if not with money at least with Food.

On this note, I wish to share about Akshaya Patra, an initiative to enable hunger free education in India, and it serves 1.3 million Children in India. The birth of Akshaya Patra started with a story of compassion. Looking out of a window one day in Mayapur, a village near Calcutta, His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada saw a group of children fighting with street dogs over scraps of food. From this simple, yet heart breaking incident, came the determination that: No one within a ten-mile radius of our center should go hungry and it bloomed to “No child in India should be go hungry” and it is successful as it already serving 1.3 million children in India. For more info visit www.akshayapatra.org.

Here is an acrostic about Food ~

F – Food has to be donated
O – Only if it is worth eating
O – Old, rotten foodstuffs may
D – Destroy the hope of little flowers

Save little flowers because they are the future of the world.

There is so much to say about food but it cannot be said in a single post so my dear readers read all the posts participating in Blog Action Day to help us to fight for the theme. Also, share this post to spread the word... Will you?

Take a quiz now which is mandatory and please think about the last question. Do make a change by supporting us with your mail. Vande Mataram

searching her.. in the streets of London... #4

You can read PART 1, PART 2 and PART 3 before reading the PART 4...!

What did she reply and why did she push you?’, the old woman said..

What the ****? Why did you bite my lips? Isn’t that lust?
What…? If you think it is lust then it is....
Huhh... Do you love me or my…
Idiot... I love you....
Then what’s all this. I am afraid..

See... The situation made me to bite your lips otherwise I wouldn’t have. I love you so much and I can’t say how much I love you. I love your eyes because it reflects your heart always. Today it yearned for a kiss that’s all’ I text her but there was no reply from her. Hours later, I went to her home.

Hello Uncle How are you?’,
Good Sid. How is the college life?
I am enjoying… Where is Hassini?’ I said looking down.

She is in her room’ he said, I smiled, went to her home to see what she is doing. She was too sexy in her purple color nightwear that made me to read her beauty right from top to bottom.

Why did you come here?
To kiss my girl
Shall I call my dad?
Will you?’ She was smiling so I went close to her to feel her warmth.

I love your eyes a lot because it always shows me your heart. I love you my angel’ she hugged me right away to feel our love, later she had her revenge, although painful but still it was sweet.

Things were faster than we expected, days rolled like a minute and our love was sweeter day by day. The timetable she prepared was very useful because it not only helps us to study but also helped me stay with her for long hours. I slept in her house for most of the days either in her room or in the couch downstairs. Exams, exams and exams, it was a buzzword as we faced the university exams for the first time.

It’s all over..’ she said when we completed our last exam.
But it is just a starting.. Still we have seven more semesters’ idiot’ I was pulling her legs now and then. Girls look pretty when they go mad and she is a perfect example for it.

Idiot! Good Morning...!’, ‘Hubby! Good Morning’, ‘Wifey! Good Night...!’, ‘I love you’, ‘Love you dear’, ‘Love you love you love you’, ‘Love you so much Hubby! Sweet Dreams and PS: ONLY ME’, ‘Sexy! Good Night!’, ‘You got it right Hubby!’, ‘Miss your kisses :-) Good Night Wifey!’, the days were seconds for us with such sweet messages. Thanks to AIRTEL for providing us free sms because of which we were able to text the things, which she hesitates to speaks, PS: Only Sometimes..

Happy New Year ! I wish the year to do more wonders for us.’ She text, and we spoke for hours wishing, actually dreaming (discussing) about our future life. I took her to the nearby Balaji Temple in the evening. I sent her a sms,

Open a New Diary yes it is a brand New Year!
The blank pages make us realize life is an unknown mystery!
Meet special people to color your life with sweet memories!
Give your best to produce the best of yourself!
Greet the challenges with a smile!
Make your diary worth millions!
I am not sure whether my life will worth millions or not but
it worth for a sweet heart’s love, forever love!
Keep smiling wifey, as it needs articulation of just 14 muscles!

Hubby... Love you forever… Wanna live my life with you, only with you forever’ we loved each other in messages.
Good Morning Wifey! Happy First Day!’ I text her wishes.

Fun, fun and fun all over the day, not only on the first day but also for weeks because the college known for discipline is now known for enjoying only for our department. Pongal, Bhogi, Republic Day, the list of holidays were more than number of working days, which made our life lively, and with friends like Sridevi, Rahul it was fun, fun and fun.

All of a sudden, the calendar displayed the date as Feb 13 and my watch showed 11:55. I dialed her number to wish my love a Happy Valentine Day, and we spoke for hours in phone because it was a rainy day. Although the rain spoiled our plans, still we enjoyed because I was in her home enjoying the hot Bhaji’s she prepared.

I scribbled poem for her,
My instincts revealed
that I am in love with an angel!
who swept me off the floor
with her hypnotic eyes!
The love bonds us with
eternal love, trust, and peace!
It started from the day
we arrived on the planet
and until our last breath
the ‘heavy love' will continue!

I am not born lucky but I am lucky because I love you’ she text me for the poem. I was lucky because I had Hassini as my love. As everyone says if you are lucky even a bad day will be yours so I was in my college, never caught by any teacher when romancing with her eyes. If someone asks me how long is a day I will answer to it as less than a second because that’s how it was for us.

Happy Happy Birthday Day Hubby!’ she shouted waking me at 12 with our friend’s gang. Usually I will be monster to apply cake for all but this time I was caught because it was the time for my friend’s revenge. They applied cake not only on my face but also everywhere on my body! It took almost an hour for me to bathe. Finally, they made me wear the dress they bought; painted me with lipstick, kajal and what all-possible fashion things a girl would use, actually for a minute I believed I am a girl looking at the mirror because of their work. I was enjoying every passing second of the day. I thanked God some million times for blessing such sweet friends and sweet girl. They did not leave my room until seven in the morning and made me to get blessings from my parents in the same costume, ha ha ha, the funniest moments of my life and I can never ever forget these sweet moments. I do not have words to thank them instead, I wished everyone to be part of my life forever.

As soon as they left my home, I missed Hassini so I messaged her as, ‘Shall we meet in the park’, ‘I love too....’, ‘and we shall meet then. Come to the park’. I reached the park in less than five minutes and waited for her. Few minutes later, she came to the park wearing the same pale pink Salwar Kameez, which she was wearing on the first day of our college. She sat next to me which made the world went unnoticed. I waited for the precious gift that she understood through my eyes. She came close to me, which made me feel her warmth but...

Suddenly a gang of ten people came there with hockey sticks; cricket stumps etc., and started to hit me without any second thoughts. I tried to hit them back but I am not a film hero to hit ten people with hands so nothing helped me. I was losing my conscious with every strike from them so I pleaded her to leave but she did not instead she cried for help. Blood started gushing out from my head, hands, face, lips and everywhere so she came between me the gangsters to stop their brutal attack and they stopped after that. Hassini’s dad came there, which made us happy but…

‘Idiots... Finish him off’ he ordered and took her from me. She pleaded a lot to her dad but he did not hear anything instead he dragged her to the car. The gangsters once again started to strike me and with no energy left, I fell unconscious. And before I closed my eyes, I saw my angel crying for me :-( :-( :-(

'Did anyone came to rescue you? What happened to her? Did you meet her?', the old woman said with tears in her eyes

move on to PART 5 here...!
