Samsung Galaxy Tab ~ My Life ~ II

‘Pappa’, my sweet daughter came running towards me with a huge smile. I took her in my arms with a sweet smile, ‘Good Morning Ishu’. ‘Pappa, did you sleep last night?’ her words hit my heart very strongly but I am not sure what to answer her instead smiled to escape.

‘Hey Ishu darling, come let us tab’, the moment I said those words I could feel the zeal in her eyes.

‘Pappa’ ‘yes darling’ ‘what make this tab so special?’

I do know the answer she expects from me every time. ‘There are quite a few reasons’

‘Hmm… What is that Pappa? Tell me please…’

‘First it is Samsung Galaxy Tab’, ‘Hmm’, Second it is priceless gift from your Mom and…’
‘And ...?’
‘And it has got so many special exciting features which made me fell in love with this tab madly’

‘Pappa...’

‘Darling it is the best Tab for little ones because they can carry easily as it weighs just 565g (1.245 pounds). Little ones will love it for sure because of its amazing size (256.7 X 175.3 X 8.6 mm)

‘Wow! Sounds good Pappa’

‘Actually it is slim, sleek and it is the best available in the market Ishu. I am sure little ones will love it just because of size, weight and its amazing sharper picture quality’

‘Pappa I can watch cartoons then’

‘Darling, of course you can and with its 10.1 inches High definition Screen that display at a pixel density of 149 PPI (Pixels per inch) and the resolution it supports is just so amazing. It’s 1280 x 800 WXGA TFT LCS Screen, the best picture quality and best resolution available in the market’

‘It sounds so good Pappa’

‘Just good? It is worth more than that Ishu, I mean the best in the market.’
‘Hmm… Why are you so excited Pappa?’

‘Because the exciting features of tab makes me go mad even after eight years Ishu.’
‘Hmm’

‘Yes Ishu, its size, weight, resolution makes me go mad. For an avid reader like me the Readers Hub is a waited gift as it gives me access to more than 2.3 millions of books in multiple languages, which one can read it for years. I am sure little ones will love this for sure. I also suggest schools to free children from their heavy bags and to bless them with this magic; they can load the books in the Hub and can read it when they wish.’

‘What is the advantage of Samsung Readers Hub Pappa?’

‘Well with its High Definition Screen Display it will make the little ones to fall in love with it. It also protects little ones from the small sized font in their textbooks. Unlike books, little ones can zoom it, feel it and they will love to read it from the HUB. I suggest schools & government to consider this idea because it saves a million trees’

‘Wow Pappa this is awesome’, ‘This is awesomeness Ishu. The tab with its 1GB RAM and 1 GHz Dual Core NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor makes our life faster than usual which is more awesome...’

‘Papppaaa!!!!!’
‘Isshuuu!!!’

‘I can’t find a word to define Samsung Galaxy Tab’, ‘Well you can’t’

‘Tell me more about Tab pa’ ‘Where should I start Ishu? Should I say about HSPA+ Technology with supports up to 21 MBPS help us to download or surf the web so easily. Features like EDGE/GPRS are a chocolate cake for us. With Wi-Fi Direct is a topping for the chocolate cake Ishu’, ‘Pappa it sounds so tasty’

‘Well it is because Wi-Fi direct will help you to connect with any Wi-Fi devices and there is no need to access Wi-Fi Network. Just Pass Wi-Fi Signal To other Wi-Fi Direct supported devices in your place to connect with each them so easily. With Bluetooth 3.0, it lets you to share any documents, music files faster and actually with lightning speed.’

‘But Pappa if it support so many amazing features then should it be kept in charging all the day?’

‘Ishu... Ishu… Ishu… It is built-in with 7000mAh battery which lets you play video up to 9 hours and listen to music up to 72 hours!!’

‘Wow it so so so awesome Pappa..’
‘It is so…’

‘Hmm… It is beyond my imagination, ‘Music Hub’, ‘Video Hub’, ‘Readers Hub’, ‘Less Weight’, ‘High Resolution and Screen Display’ and what else Pappa?’

‘You can send and receive messages and do add ‘Social Hub’ too in your list Ishu’

‘I have a request Pappa’ she sounded very low. ‘What is your request darling?’ ‘Can I read the last message from Mom?’ I stumbled for words because it stays as an unread message for the past six years because I do not have a big heart to read her last message but she read the message that left her in tears because love is like a river when it breaks the bridge no could stop the overflow. I somehow managed to change her mood with the song sung by Isha.

‘Actually the music hub is just mind blowing because you can search any music by artist, reviews by popularity, song name or specifying other criteria and listen to it. Create your own user-friendly playlist and many more’. ‘I just love this Pappa’ she managed a smile after hearing a series of songs sung by Isha. Her words sounded little upset that should be the after effects of reading Isha’s last message. So I introduced her to the game, ‘Two Player Reactor’, which Isha loves a lot. Also revealed our favourite games and apps.

‘Pappa, this is so interesting...’

I let her win almost all the attempts we did to make her happy. I also introduced her to facebook, twitter and how the Social Hub helps to stay connected with your family and friends. I do remember the instant messages that I sent to Isha because my job bugged me whenever possible and not to forget the video calls because they are just amazing. As a Google addict I just love the Google Suite of Samsung Galaxy Tab.

‘Pappa what is this honeybee doing here?’

‘Darling it is the symbol for Android OS version 3.1 (Honeycomb). It is the best platform (open source) available, it provides better multitasking, faster internet browsing and gaming experience. You can install a million of applications or even more from Android Market.’

‘This is an awe-inspiring Tab Pappa’, ‘I do agree darling…’

‘It also keeps me in touch with blogging as it helps me to read as many write-ups as possible’

‘But Why to read & write blogs?’

‘Writing is my passion, and I am born in this world to express my dreams, I do so as poems and prose. I do prefer poetry as it helps my muse to rhyme what I love to, and attain peace. I read to enjoy my fellow bloggers creative work for contests and meme blogs.’

‘What is that promote icon Pappa?’

‘IndiBlogger has introduced a feature to study the interaction level of bloggers. It is always good to click on promote after reading the post and if we wish we can leave our footprints because people love comment from your heart and not from your fingers’

‘Awe Superb Pappa’

In the meanwhile, I loaded a perfect advertisement for Samsung Galaxy Tab from YouTube.

‘Dad this is so beautiful’, ‘Ishu advertisements should be crafted from life in a creative way because it should touch the heart of the people who see it or who read it, that’s when success starts... Well I dream to see you a professional writer Ishu and I am sure you will.’

‘I will do my best Pappa’

‘So sweet of you darling’

‘You are so sweet Pappa’

‘Thank you Darling’ and took her in my arms to kiss her.

Suddenly someone kicked on my back shouting, ‘It is enough of dreaming Sid, time to start to office’ that closed the fantasy doors of my dream world ~ ‘My Life’ and opened my eyes to annoyingly greet the bright sun whose punctuality I’ve always envied. Around me were four thick walls and that same room of mine that had witnessed nearly every ‘face’ of mine! Oh! Only a dream but a beautiful dream I would love to live but with a small change! I wish Isha to stay with me forever and let Samsung Galaxy Tab record those sweet memories :-)

I know people just can’t stop their hands after reading about the exciting features of Samsung Galaxy Tab, so it is time to can pre-order here on Samsung website or here on Flipkart...

I would love to try my hands on Samsung Galaxy Tab for sure... Let's TAB..

~ Happy Birthday Devil ~ 2011 ~

I am born lucky in this world because I'm blessed with a friend like, Saraswathi... So here is a poem to my sweet friend...

Happy birthday to the sweet person I love the most,
who taught me what friendship is!

She is a daffodil bloomed this early morning,
dancing and smiling to my hearts tune!
Her sparkling smile lights up trillions of stars,
and the most beautiful moon!
Her words radiates positive sweetness to several hearts,
like a Cuckoos unchained Melody!
Her friendship was the one I hold near,
one of the priceless gift, I say my dear!

Happy birthday to the sweet person I love the most,
who taught me what friendship is!

All my love to you on this precious day,
part of me knows just what I should say!
Perhaps I write few... but some deeper words inside,
is on my silent write!
If you stumble, or if you feel alone, just think of me,
or read the personal slam I gifted you my best friend.
I do so, whenever I miss 'U' my dear friend,
because not even time can say goodbye to our friendship!

Happy birthday to the sweet person I love the most,
who taught me what friendship is!

On your special day, I have wishes for you,
first is happiness, the long lasting one!
A sweet virtual hug, is just for you,
and a sweet big smile is overdue from you!
Sending happiness, sweet hug, lovely smiles and caring hearts
to which earthly gifts cannot match!
Though we live miles apart, our friendship has no boundaries,
I'm sure not even death can tear us apart!

Happy birthday to the sweet person I love the most,
who taught me what friendship is!

Never know that this day would be so special, but
It does, as devil's birthday, very many Happy Returns Of The Day!
Your birthday is as much as a celebration for me,
as it is for you, even more!
I wish for you the best of birthdays, the best one ever,
May each birthday be better than the last!
Most of all, I hope you will always,
Be as happy as you have made me !

Lullaby, I sang
in silence for you Devil
Happy Birthday Dear

My Life !

Days became beautiful because of special reasons. A beautiful day becomes memorable because of very special reasons. Feb 2nd 2012 was one of those special days in my life because of a simple but beautiful reason. The reason is my life, ‘Isha’ proposed to me in a unique way. People might wonder what made the proposal unique because a love proposal itself is uniquely special. Hmm, she gifted me a tab to propose to me. The next question would be, ‘How did she propose by gifting a tab?’ Even I was puzzled when she gave me a gift wrapped in a velvet cloth and asked to see the gift once she leave. With a-million-butterflies-feeling, I unpacked the velvet cloth to see a treasure, ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab750’. I was wondering why she gifted me a costly gift on my birthday but later realised her love when I saw the home screen, ‘Will ‘U’ be my life?’ On seeing, that my heart started pumping fast, blood ran faster into my veins, a shapeless ball was revolving in my throat; a billion butterflies were flying around me because a cute dream angel had proposed to me.

Wow, what excited me so much? Was that her proposal or the tab? I was dumb to reply but I realized that in some corner of my heart I was excited to see a priceless gift, ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab’ from her, as it was the best gift I ever received in my life. I sent a message to her, ‘Be my life forever’ with a sweet poem and from that day till today, the tab has become my life. It is not just a tab but also a sweet diary that has recorded my day-to-day life for the past eight years, actually exactly eight years before she gifted me this tab but...

I opened the ‘Image Gallery’ to see an angel, ‘How sweet she is’, an angel or may be more. As they say, “Beautiful things become more beautiful when a beauty pictures it”, Samsung Galaxy tab is a beauty that pictures beautiful memories very beautifully with its large high definition screen. I touched the Image gallery to cherish my sweet memories. ‘How beautiful it would be to see an old image clicked at the right moment in Samsung Galaxy Tab?’ I would say, ‘a priceless gift’ because of the memories it brings to our life with its 1280 x 800 WXGA display at a pixel density of 149ppi. I moved to the next photo with a simple touch and was happy to see the most beautiful image of our lifetime, which she created with a feather, how crazy she was! ‘Sid ♥ Isha’, how beautiful it sounds, and to see it on Samsung Galaxy Tab. Can someone say no after seeing this beauty? I bet no one will because the priceless gifts are not precious stones but small beautiful gifts by your lovable ones. Ah! our marriage photo, she looked very cute and she blushed like never before which meant, "I LOVE TO LIVE A BEAUTIFUL LIFE WITH U" and this pretty much was a moment of madness in my life. This one, she clicked it on the day she deserved her birthright; I would say it is our birthright because no one can explain the moment they realize the sweet news (she is pregnant). Wow what a moment it was. I jumped in joy shouting “at last I can call myself a responsible father and a lovable husband". She has recorded videos of those sweet moments with the best tab in this world. How sweet!!!

White resembles angels, and if angels speak, it would be divine to hear. So is the Samsung Galaxy Tab earphone. “Without music life would be a mistake ~ Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche”. We are not an exception to deny it because we have spent most of our weekends hearing good music, and particularly hearing a song most of the times, ‘Ae Ajnabi’ from Dilse. It was ‘Divine’ to hear the song in Samsung Galaxy Tab Music Hub with its surround speakers or with its head set, that too with a beautiful song. The reason to describe Isha as a song is when we hear a beautiful song we will hum it all throughout the day. She is such a cutie; my eyes hummed her beautiful image always. How pleasant it would be to hear it once again with this Hub, “Maybe more than divine”

“Poetry is the music of the soul, and, above all, of great and feeling souls – Voltaire” and how pleasant it would be to rhyme a poem when you hear music, ‘heavenly or even more than that’. Samsung Galaxy Tab has blessed me with an integrated Office to rhyme when I felt like rhyming. More than that, a poem or a prose is good when it has minimal or no grammatical errors. For a government school student where English was a nightmare during my school days, Samsung Galaxy Tab is a treasure. ‘How many love letters, poems? Memories my sweet memories...’ Here is a romantic one penned on a romantic evening...

It stays as an unread message for the past six years because I am afraid to read this last message from her. How many messages I have sent to her from this tab? Countless I doubt, if someone asks me, what is SMS then I would define it as ‘Sweet Memories between Souls’. And for a poet the weapon to reflect love is words. Here are few words that reflected my love as messages. And they are many more sweet messages that reflect our love and marriage life.

But, you know, the worst job on this earth is to be an IT professional, the modern day saints who gave up their life, family and everything just for the sake of the dreadful word: deadline. There were many days when I never returned to home instead just stayed in touch with her via video calls. Thanks to Samsung Galaxy Tab for the fantastic rear camera, that helps high quality video calls with its HSPA+ and WiFi access it rocks to the core, ‘better multitasking’. With Android 3.1 (Honey Comb) nothing can match 'Samsung Galaxy Tab'. But still whenever I return home, she frowned, “So do you remember that you have a wife?” I tried to score husband points with the word ‘Angel’.

Not to forget the FB status and weekend Paint your lines. I have to say this, ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab has the best Social Hub that has always keeps me excited’. Isha, the sweet soul was very much interested in reading other’s imagination that’s why I used to do this every weekend.

Between, my sweet daughter ‘Ishu’ came running towards me shouting, ‘Pappa!’ I smiled, and clicked her beautiful snap. Because she always resembles Isha, though Isha is not with us today, she lives with us in the form of ‘Ishu’. Her obstetrical death may part her soul from us but she lives with us in the form of memories.

Some people preserve memories, some do letters, some do photos but I prefer to preserve my beautiful life, ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab’.

It is my memories, ‘Sweet’
It is my love, ‘She’
It is my life, ‘We’

Although she is not with us today, Her sweet memories are in this tab. I remember questioning her for buying a costly gift (Samsung Galaxy Tab) for my birthday... but she said it is our life... I never realized what she meant that day but today I can feel it... This tab is my life as it carries my sweet and sour memories in the form of images, messages, music, mails, and most of all I have her finger prints in this.

I love her forever and this Samsung Galaxy Tab... And all the features crafted above excite me a lot because the Tab is my life.

Free... Are we?

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 23; the twenty-third edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for this month is FREE.

I am here to write a post on the theme ‘Free’ but definitely not a crime thriller or romantic stories that I usually dab in. ‘FREE’, although it has a wide scope, I prefer to write for Free India but if it from my pen then the question would be, ‘Are we really free? Happy Independence Day but when this day is coming?'

PS: The post is a just an internal reflection of my thoughts on, ‘Are we really free?’ Most of the facts penned here are taken from Wikipedia, Google, and Corruption India forums. Whenever some of my blog pals post about corruption or any I used to hit hard at them (because just writing won’t help either is my policy), today I sincerely apologise for the same because I am going to vent out my feelings.

Before I proceed to the actual post, I want to share this known info with all my blogging pals of the world. On August 16 2011, India against corruption movement is going to happen. If the whole country takes to streets for a week from 16th August, WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, can force the government to enact a strong ‘Jan Lokpal Bill’. Mostly I will be joining my hands with the team here in Electronic City, Bangalore. Will you be there or in your near-by area or wherever, please? Can we count on your support and active participation?

Now an e-trash for the theme, ‘FREE’.

After 64 years of Independence, are we free? I think we are not… and life of a common person is worse than a prisoner. I have heard that during the British era there were no corruptions but now what to type. I am ashamed to live in this corruption world for 24 years, if I would born before our Independence I would have at least fought for our Independence but today I can’t even do that. If I even type a single name here then they would file a defamation case on me for questioning a pure Indian (really?) or they would have requested Google to remove it from the search engine. (Proof)

Hope we still remember that we live in a democratic country but where is democracy? We are growing in terms of infrastructure, education, lifestyle, glamour, style, entertainment, market, and what not. But are we really free? If you look at the scenario today, (priority in the reverse order) the prices of gold, petrol, diesel, cooking gas & rice are going up, richer is getting richest and poor are getting poorer. People like us, who are neither rich nor poor, are at the same level. We have reached the moon but yet there are many homes where a girl child is not been accepted. Women have reached to the status by becoming a doctor, politician, police etc but why still they are considered as something else, still daily newspaper publish new about rapes and molestation of women. Child labour is still seen in India. There are many more major issues in our country, sitting in an AC odc's, as software professional it is easy to write on any issues but is it easy to live a life like them or to help them.

We flash news of Mumbai terrorist attacks, Sai Baba treasure, and Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple treasure for a day or two but aren’t we the culprits? Speaking about an incident for a day or two and then resuming our works? What are the steps taken by us? Aren’t we our self-responsible for it? Cruel intentions of external and internal people are because of the injustice, races discrimination, and politics and narrow mindless of the old tradition like sati, dowry, domestic violence, poverty that is existing in our country even today. The corruption, the imbalance of society, political games, religious divisions and unawareness of rights is dropping one side of our country in a gutter. On this 65th year of Independence WE INDIAN’S, request every individual in India to wake up. Let’s come together and makes this place a better place to live.

Don’t just buy a flag to pin up on your sleeve or on the collar, put up in your car, tables, house, office and living rooms or wherever but put the feeling, ‘I am an Indian’ in your heart right now and start thinking to live in corruption free India. On 15th August 2011, we will celebrate the successful completion of 64 years of Indian Government and they call it as Independence Day but I won’t because according to my heart I still don’t have. India is not free. In fact, India is going further and further away from freedom.

Here are few lines about Corruption in India, edited version :-) Original Source (Wikipedia):

The neutrality of this article is disputed. Please see the discussion on the talk page. Please do not remove this message until the dispute is resolved. (June 2011)

Political and bureaucratic corruption in India is major concerns. A 2005 study conducted by Transparency International in India found that more than 45% of Indians had first-hand experience of paying bribes or influence peddling to get jobs done in public offices successfully. Transparency International estimates that truckers pay US$5 billion in bribes annually. In 2010, India was ranked 87th out of 178 countries in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index.

Although former Prime Minister and Congress party leader Indira Gandhi has quoted as saying that corruption is a misuse of power, she also publicly stated "nonchalantly" that "corruption was a global phenomenon" and her government was no different. Successive central governments and members of India's famous Nehru-Gandhi political dynasty have often been accused most of corruption and amassing illegal wealth among India's political class. The year 2011 has proved to be a watershed in the public tolerance of political corruption in India, with widespread public protests and movements led by social activists against corruption and for the return of illegal wealth stashed by politicians and businesspersons in foreign banks over the six decades since independence.

India tops the list for black money in the entire world with almost US$1456 billion in Swiss banks (approximately USD 1.4 trillion) in the form of black money. According to the data provided by the Swiss Banking Association Report (2006), India has more black money than the rest of the world combined. To put things in perspective, Indian-owned Swiss bank account assets are worth 13 times the country’s national debt

“The recent scams involving unimaginably big amounts of money, such as the 2G spectrum scam, are well known. It is estimated that more than trillion dollars are stashed away in foreign havens, while 80% of Indians earn less than 2$ per day and every second child is malnourished. It seems as if only the honest people are poor in India and want to get rid of their poverty by education, emigration to cities, and immigration, whereas all the corrupt ones, are getting rich through scams and crime. Many of the biggest scandals since 2010 have involved very high levels of government, including Cabinet Ministers and Chief Ministers, such as in the 2G spectrum scam and the Adarsh Housing Society Scam.

India is corrupted everywhere right from Property registration, Tendering processes and awarding contracts, Medicine in Government Hospitals, Income tax Department, Illegal mining in India, Judiciary, Armed forces, Media bias, Religious institutions and everywhere.

Social welfare worker Anna Hazare has led a movement to compel the Indian Government to notify the Committee for the implementation of the Lokayukta against corruption as an independent body and also giving enough powers to the Lokayukta to also receive corruption complaints against politicians, bureaucrats and even sitting judges. Anna Hazare has achieved this big success through his non-violence measures like fasting till death at the Jantar Mantar place in Delhi Capital City of India . The public also gave nation-wide support to Anna Hazare in his demand for strong and tough anti-corruption law.

India Against Corruption is a movement created by a citizens from a variety of professions and statuses to work against corruption in India. It is currently headed by Anna Hazare. Jaago Re! One Billion Votes is an organization originally founded by Tata Tea and Janaagraha to increase youth voter registration. They have since expanded their work to include other social issues, including corruption. Association for Social Transparency, Rights And Action (ASTRA) is an NGO focused on grass-roots work to fight corruption in Karnataka. One organization, the Lok Satta Movement, has transformed itself from a civil organization to a full-fledged political party, the Lok Satta Party. The party has fielded candidates in Andrha Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Bangalore. In 2008, it obtained its first elected post, when Jayaprakash Narayan won the election for the Kukatpally Assembly Constituency in Andrha Pradesh. Anti corruption is a website that is very popular among people who wants to report a bribe they were forced to give. It also gives various reports on corruption basis the information presented to them by the people. Ejanmat is a site which carries out a voting between the government and Anna Hazare's version of Janlokpal bill. According to a report by KPMG, "high-level corruption and scams are now threatening to derail the country's credibility and [its] economic boom"

Hope you read the edited version of the corruption tale of Wikipedia. I have a poem for so-called Free India..

She was happily smiling before the storm,
invaded her country!
Is that the salt, precious stones or desert sands...?
Never know! But how they invaded so easily!
Gandhiji, Nehruji and many,
fought with the storm to set her free!
But today they have gone,
and spirits have gone low even in some old eyes!
Do we still remember the vision of the struggle for freedom?
or it just stays as a word in our vocabulary?
We have seen India as a slave to the storm,
but what is the difference after independence?
Our politicians are ruling us,

we had fight with others (British),
but how can we fight with our own ones?
Where do we find people like Nehru, Gandhi and Kamaraj?
Instead, we see trash in the green well!
Though the faces change every five years,
We still can see nowhere, no work, no peace, no dedication!
Instead, they just dig the country treasure,
and save them as red treasure in foreign banks!
The white shit's divide us in the name of God.
Have seen this in my eyes, I can imagine,
What it would be for the next generation!
Before dawn, awake once again, stay clean,
and help to clean the white shit’s!

Bring back the treasure that lies miles away,
to glorify the India as it was before the storm!
Don’t just discuss about topics on internet about nation
Dare to ask the government about our rights!
Don’t just say we are a proud Indian
instead, feel proud in eradicating the corruption!
Don’t just divide in the name of religion/language
Instead, live as an Indian in your heart!
Just do not sacrifice one day, but at least one hour per day,
to clean, clear and bring back the sweetness to her!
Let her stay in peace if not today, tomorrow or may be in future,
Let mother India smile to see the new Free India!

Finally, I have a question, ‘Are we really free?’

'I have a Dream' ~ Rashmi Bansal~ Book Review ~ Someone is Special

The most beautiful feeling in this world is to dream about your life. I am no exception to deny it as I too had a lot and one of them is receiving a priceless book delivered in perfect condition at my doorsteps. When it is author signed book, ‘What can I say?’, as usual, I was flying to the roof after receiving the book, ‘I have a Dream ~ Rashmi Bansal’ from BlogAdda. I owe and thank BlogAdda for this sweet surprise.

Can someone say ‘I never dream?’ I hope no one will say that because day to-day software life the only sweet thing that could happen is a dream.

The title ‘I have a Dream’ invited me more to read the book at a stretch from dusk until dawn. I have to say it is an awe-inspiring read for any entrepreneur. The cover of the book with cloud pattern makes it so close to dreams.

"I have a dream... That one day all of God's children will be able to join hands and sing... Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!" The author has started the book with such inspiring words from Martin Luther King Jr speech on 28th August 1963.

A tree is known by its fruit” and so the author’s note as it defines the book, best as “These are people like you and me, not Mother Teresa. They are using the principles of business, to create a better world” A world where profit does not equal greed where people come together for a greater common cause. A world where “I” does not mean crushing “them” Hats off Rashmi…

Well the book is about one common dream of 20 ordinary persons who change the trend, a new path of social service to help to change the world.

The book is of three types of people, “RAINMAKERS”, “CHANGEMAKERS”, and “THE SPIRITUAL CAPITALIST”. 'CASTE AWAY', ‘THE SOUND OF SILENCE’, ‘THE HUNGRY TIDE’, ‘TEACH A MAN TO FISH’, ‘THE NAKED TRUTH’, ‘THE GIRL IN THE MIRROR’, ‘SOUL FOOD’ and ‘LEAD KINDLY, LIGHT' are awe-inspiring stories. With references, and section titled ‘ADVICE TO YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS’, the author has reflected upon individual characters wonderfully.

The book is a mixture of people who dream big, live in it, and innovate to achieve it. It runs across various social issues, and finally achieving it. One of the best collections of social enterprises where the motive is to do good and not charity. ‘CASTE AWAY’, it was conceptualized to realize Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a “Clean India”.

‘What do you do when a courier man comes to your doorstep? Just sign to collect your parcel and that’s what initiated the idea for Dhruv Lakra, a young man to start “Mirakle Couriers” An incident in a bus journey made Dhruv realize deaf people can be employed too. And the best point was a courier company where the customer need not communicate verbally. “Just sign to collect your parcel”. Wow… ‘SOUL FOOD’, with stories of Akshaya Patra, where they serve meals to many schools, is the one of the best.

The author’s effort to make the book simple, thoughtful and innovative is commendable. With inspiring examples of brilliant writing, this book is a perfect read for any youth entrepreneur. I am sure the book fulfils the aim of aspiring entrepreneurs.

‘The more you give, the more you will get back.’ Now, it is your turn to buy one for you to get more from this awe-inspiring book.

~ Happy Friendship Day ~

God must have known that
We need a gentle tap on our back
when we feel down;
We need a hug to comfort us
when we feel lonely;
We need a word of praise
when we win;
We need a hand to brush away our tear
when we are sad;

To share little things in life
with some special friends because they
can change a frown
into smile;
can change a loss
into gain;
can change your dreams
into reality;
can change the obstacle
into stepping stone;
can change 'I' & 'U'
into 'V';
and appreciate the happiness
that life brings!

To give us strength and courage
to make a fresh start or
even after all the loss;
their words flashes for a while on thee, dear friend,
all losses are restored and sorrows have end.

For camaraderie & trueness, God blessed
an ever-lasting true hearts, and named
them as friends ~ a relationship
which has thousands names
but without any actual relationship is friendship!

It's pleasure to reveal,
I have few such hearts,
that's why am always blessed with success!
And not to forget the moments that we relish
round, around the school and college days;
Igniting the light of our true friendship
to colour our life naturally
and they are special friends,
Whose bond we can't explain;
Their love has no boundaries;
So, even when we are apart,
Those sweet memories enhances us,
With a warmth felt in the heart,
Not even death can tear us apart;
And so, these friends, God sends our way,
remain forever near!

And as we all know, FRIEND means
FEW RELATIONS IN EARTH NEVER DIE

And a special haiku about friendship..

a relationship
without any relation
is true friendship

I love to compare friends with colours because they can express all the emotions of life. And what else could be the best analogy of friendship other than the colours and their mixtures with each other. Talking about colours, the first thought, which comes to the mind, is Rainbow, made of seven different colours of the spectrum that blends to create a beautiful, magical, mesmerizing scene, taking our thoughts beyond the limits. Whenever a rainbow stretches across the sky, they do as a reminder of peace, and when a good rain-washes the world, a Rainbow appears in the sky as a sign of hope for tomorrow. In similar lines whenever something bothers you, friends appear before you as God, to comfort you and as a sign of hope for tomorrow I have few close friends without them I can’t even imagine a life. This poem is a sweet dedication for my dear (Saraswathi Muthuraman & Balakumar Sankar), far, near friends, and for all my friends of blogosphere. PS: This poem is edited, re-posted (the org is posted four years back in my old blog) for expressing my friendship with you all and as a dedication to all lovable friends of mine, here and everywhere.
