Upon request by multiple readers, I'm including this story in the upcoming short story collection. Thanks for the love!
I as a part of IndiBlogger contest, ‘Incredible Stories in association with Mahindra XUV 500’ have published this post. The contest is to write about, "Do you have an incredible experience to share?" I had none until I experienced this. I personally thank those two mice for inspiring me to write and to IndiBlogger and Mahindra for hosting the contest.

ReplyDeleteIt was so heart warming!!!!!!
this incident shows us the real mirror of the humans....and also how much we need to 'relearn'!!!!!
hopefully the mice will leave an everlasting impression!!
And I must add....i this this is my favorite post on your blog so far!! :):)

This is a cute story that also contains a lesson for us. What would we do for our friend caught in a trap. Not this huge sacrifice I don't believe but,,,,,we can think about it.
ReplyDeleteOh...such a heart touching tale. My heart goes out to the twonpoor mice. Well narrated, bro. Good luck with the contest.

You write well SiS..but for me end would be different and you know... I think instead of sacrificing life it would have been better to live for the friend and become a guiding light for others to help them not to fall in traps created by lesser human beings... but then it's alright.. we look at life from two different ends.. you have just started...life has many more extraordinary lessons to offer..and each lesson evolves us into better human beings.. .. keep evolving.. that's the essence of life..SiS..
