Wish
This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 12; the twelfth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton.
Wish, the moment I heard this topic the first thought that came to my mind was, "What would be my wish if God grants me one?" or the Famous thriller, "Monkey's Paw - Jacobs", may be "Tiger's Paw"? Come-on Saravana! Think out of the box, this write up should impress many hearts and get me votes. Although a difficult task but let me try my best, with all your wishes I am penning down, "Wish".
This is a usual story about a girl’s wish, which is known to this world unusually.
A journey from her engagement to marriage.
Day 1:
Rachana, a cute mischievous girl dressed up to her best, was eagerly waiting for the moment. Each second passed by increased a butterfly in her stomach as she was eager to talk to Ajeesh, her perfect match. She was thinking about the beauty of arranged marriages - discovering each other’s turn-on(s) in short span of time and trying to fit in the available space. The moment her name was whispered – she wished to figure out Ajeesh in the allotted space.
Ajeesh: Hi.. Rachana... You have got a very Sweet name, I think it means, “Creation”. Hmmm, can I ask you a question?(grinning)
She was mesmerized by the way he made her comfortable, she said, “Yes”.
Ajeesh took a deep breath and questioned, “Whom you think is a selfless creature in the world?”
Rachana: Mother
Ajeesh got the answer which he was looking for and suddenly out of nowhere, he looked directly into her eyes and asked, “Will you be my lovely lawfully wedded wife?” and she blushed like she had never blushed before which meant the most beautiful words “Yes sweet heart”. Her wish was granted as she figured out Ajeesh and his sweet character.
As they both were comfortable with each other, the engagement began with a happy note, went on with no luxurious deal but with hearts and love all around. The most precious rings were exchanged between them.
Day 3:
Rachana’s mobile rang few times but she couldn’t pick up the call as she was taking a bath but somewhere in her heart she could sense that it was someone special calling her. She decided not to miss the call anymore so assigned a special ring tone, “Kalaba Kadhala”, her favourite ringtone which she hasn’t assigned to anyone else.
Ajeesh: Hi.. Creator.. Good Morning..
Rachana: Hi.... Good Day, I apologize for not picking your call as I was taking a bath.
Ajeesh: So you do bath, that’s appreciated but I heard you never.
Rachana: Hey.....
They both spoke as hours went unnoticed, neither the stomach ached for food nor the pre-paid connection for account balance, they loved it.
Day 5:
Rachana took off to office and later went for shopping which will be sponsored by the bridegroom’s family. She always loves to shop but this was a different experience, a big occasion, and moreover she is shopping for a sari which will remain as the best of the collection. She wished that the colour of the sari should be Lavender indigo as she is crazy about it; even her living room bears the same colour. They were browsing different varieties, different colours and at last she came out as the clear winner.
Ajeesh: So even the sari is of your favourite colour. Hmmm
Rachana was puzzled as she never mentioned about these small things to him, and puzzled she asked, “But how you know about it?”
Ajeesh: Simple, when I was eagerly waiting for you, i saw an angel coming out of an indigo shell and you know what, that’s my favourite color too..
The day was like a beautiful leaf to her diary, and she cherished it with Ajeesh.
Day 10:
Rachana opened her cute eye lids around four in the morning, although it was a Sunday she didn’t sleep, her thoughts were occupied with Ajeesh. After complete four busy business days she couldn’t sleep or rest her mind either, it was because she was suffering from love and she didn’t have time to speak to him which was supposed to be a crucial medicine. She wished to call him once to check whether he is free that day or not, so took her phone searched for the name, “Koibitou” (Sweet Heart - Japanese) and called him. She was supposed to hear the usual ring but she heard, “Kalaba Kadhala” and it continued for 60 seconds.
Ajeesh: Hi.. Good Morning, Heard you favourite song? It is specially assigned for you.
Rachana, speechless don’t how to react, she said, “Morninggggggg! I am surprised, by the way how you know that I love this song”
Ajeesh: Simple, when we were shopping on that day I heard a common ring tone for everyone but when I called you to check where you were; I realized the specialness in it.
Rachana: You touched me Koibitou.
Ajeesh: Hey what does it mean?
Rachana: Find it my genius, “You are a silent show stealer right?”
Ajeesh: Got it, Sweet Heart right? So you have saved my name as Koibitou, I have found another secret of you.
She was totally immersed in love with him.
Day 11:
As usual she was getting ready to go to home, busy in applying her lip gloss, she missed to hear the beep sound of her phone. She had a great day in office as she received a client appreciation mail and more over from the next day she will be on leave, she reached her home took out her phone and was surprised to see, “11 message received”. She opened, got shocked as all the messages are from, “Koibitou”
1: Hi Creator... Good Morning..
2: Hi still bathing?
3: waiting for a lovely SMS
4: I wish you a lovely day creator
5: Time is two but am not feeling hungry, still waiting
6: Hey Creator...
7: Happy News, “I am madly in love with you”
8: Happy News, “I am getting hike..”
9: :-)
10:
11: Hi Mam, this is a kind request from your sincere lover, as am I suffering from heavy love, I wish to get a SMS every hour from you which will keep me energized and short ‘n’ sweet call every night will add to glitters. ALSO I will be more than happy if I receive a ---- at the EOC (End Of Call). Yours, Koibitou
After reading all those sweet SMS(s), she couldn’t help herself from tears. She was scolding NOKIA for making phones with common message tones. She didn’t had the courage to call Ajeesh, so she threw her phone and slept sobbing. Suddenly her phone started ringing with the tone, “Kalaba Kadhala”; she stood up in astonishment, searched for the phone and answered the call.
Rachana: Sobbing
Ajeesh: Hi.... Is something wrong with you? Hey... what happened dear? Please na, speak something, please.
Rachana: I love to KISS you, “Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”
Ajeesh: That’s very energetic. So what happened?
Rachana: Sorry koibitou, I don’t have a habit of reading messages or replying to them, I had a very good day in office but made your day a bad one, really sorry.
Ajeesh: Hey... you made me discover how much I love you, and happy for getting such an opportunity.
Rachana: Bad Boyy..........
Ajeesh: Hmmmm Thanks for your compliment, three more days Sweety, 72 hours, 4320 minutes.
Rachana: Wait wait, I am doing the same right....
It was a never ending talk as they completely immersed themselves in love and they wished a happy life.
Past two days was a dream come true for them as they lived virtually in their phones, even a smile was sent as a message, they shared their likes, dislikes, crush and everything.
Day 14:
Just 24 hours left to tie the knot, relatives were busy in performing the rituals and so the bride and bridegroom. If it is a marriage then the important part is friends and they played a major role in setting everything right. Reception happened in a grand way including stage shows and the last night before the first night went like seconds.
Big Day:
Rachana was the happiest girl as everything was set right to tie the knot and the happiest moment which she wished came true as Ajeesh tied the knot. Their wishes were fulfilled and with thousands of people blessing they were declared as Newly Wedded Couples.
What does a girl wish in her married life? Love, care & moreover she should be herself whenever she is with him and Rachana was not an exception in this case. Her wish was granted by God and she was a Happy Girl for rest of her life.
The best wish you can ever make is how you want to live your life and that’s what this WISH too.

Sense Of Love
The day started with little drizzles, as Ashik started to his school wearing a black hat, over coat and his usual school dress. He started cycling slowly as if he was riding a slow cycling race. He was in low spirits that day and felt very sleepy due to the weather. When he was about to reach his school, he saw Akhil, his friend shouting "Hey dude! It's a Holiday! Enjoy your day".
Ashik replied, "Shit, I don’t have energy to enjoy, idiot. Thanks anyway and bye."
He went to the park to which he usually goes with Hassini, his love. He knew that Hassini would come there, and so, he waited. Ten minutes later, Hassini came and closed Ashik eyes with her hands, "Who is this?"; "Mera Love” said Ashik and pulled her to the front and made her to sit.
As usual, they both started to talk, talk and talk, and the whole world went off unnoticed. An hour or so would have gone by when a few drizzles started dancing down on them, which could also not stop their talk. After ten minutes of drizzling, rain started to pour heavier. They both were left with no other option other than to run to a nearby tree. It was very big and they both found shelter under it. They were totally drenched in the rain because of which Hassini started to shiver, Ashik gave his overcoat to her but that also didn’t help her.
Ashik had no clue how to stop her shivering, so he just hugged her gently. She started to calm down but he hugged her tightly with lots of love, and in turn, Hassini. Ashik slowly lifted her face, smiled and kissed on her forehead at first, then on the left & right cheeks, followed by chin and the most attractive neck. He held her hand tightly and at last, he reached the destiny, and kissed her with ease for a few minutes.
Rain too stopped and they both started walking, hands locked, no words uttered. They both sensed the true love behind the act and the world went unnoticed.

What Women Wants?
A woman – The Creator or we used to call them sweetly as mom, who brought you to this world; fed you when we were hungry; secured you in her shell (hands) from everything that were considered as threat; taught you what is world, and she knows only to show love and affection.
A sister – the one who is your friend, enemy, good, bad and everything – teaches you how to step in this world intelligently; how to face this world with lots of courage. She knows to show love and affection and guides you to the way of success.
A friend – the one who scolds you for the mistakes you do; helps you in your subjects; remains with you in all your mischievous acts; shares with you everything and she knows to show love, affection, anger and friendship.
A better half – who is your better half; will be with you in all your ups and downs; shares your happiness, sadness and moreover a second mother to you who protects you in her eyelids and lives only for you.
When a woman is your mom – she expects nothing other than your love.
When a woman is your sister – she expects nothing other than your love & care.
When a woman is your friend – she expects nothing other than your love, affection and honesty.
When a woman is your better half – she expects nothing other than your love, affection, honesty and most importantly the secure arms which she always loves to lay down on.
In all the four creations, What Women Want is LOVE & AFFECTION and most importantly she should be herself whenever she is with you.

This story is a portrayal of a telephonic conversation between two friends, of course between two opposite sex people only and let me tell about myself- I am Neha – working as a software engineer in Infosys. I have a close teddy friend, nope he is not a doll but a kind hearted handsome man, working as a software engineer in Oracle; and his name is Ashik. But don’t think that this conversation is between me and Ashik because it is about him with my colleague Sameer, a tall and handsome guy. Sameer called me up last night when I think the time would be around 10:15 PM, and said a big 'Hi' to me.
Me: Hi Sameer, How was your day?
Sameer: It was fine day, and I hope you had a great day.
Me: Yeah man, it was awesome as we all partied for our project success.
Sameer: I am glad that you too joined us, because usually you will be logged in your phone at that time.
Me: Hey… stop… I will be talking with my teddy…
Sameer: Teddy…? That’s interesting, what is the real name?
Me: Ashik, my close friend right from my college days, you know he is very smart, kind hearted and caring guy. He always backs me whenever I am down and whenever I feel sad. He is the sweetest person I ever met in my life and I feel I want to be with him forever.
Sameer: That’s cool Neha! So when you meet him first?
Me: Sameer, how can I forget those sweet moments? I was wearing a peacock blue salwar kameez with matching bangles, rings and bindis, and he was wearing a blue jean with a white shirt and looking cool in his favorite colors. If am not wrong, it was the 8th of September 2004, 08:08 AM. He sat down next to me and was listening to the stupid lecture given by my Prince at his best. I interrupted him and enquired about his schooling, marks and the department to which he belonged. Luckily, he said IT to which I belonged too and that was where our sweetest friendship started.
Sameer: Interesting!!! Go ahead...
Me: We exchanged our numbers in a day or two and as time progressed, we came closer through text at first and then with phone calls. The first semester was the best part as we discovered the true relationship between us, and when the exams came, we both studied either in my room or in his. Our parents understood us well too.
Sameer: Hmmm... great! Any outings?
Me: How come with that? During our first semester holidays we both went to Mayajaal, MGM and to some good resorts out there. It was funny and enjoyable as he did some nonsense and movies were the best pass time for us.
Sameer: I think he is the best part of you!
Me: I accept. He is the best part of mine, let it be studies or fun filled moments or emotions; he reflects me and soothes me when required. Days were special till we completed our sixth semester but that was the time when we slogged a lot. Our study time extended and we prepared ourselves for our placements, and the reason behind me being your colleague is Ashik. He is the one who always pushes me hard and gives me confidence that I can do it. But the saddest part did not get selected.
Sameer: Oh my God! You might have cried a lot in spite of your happy moments.
Me: I did cry silently but I know he deserves better and that’s what happened to him. But the days that followed were the sweetest part of our life, golden moments or any word which describes it better. We both spent most of our times in malls or resorts and even we visited our natives and enjoyed the fresh air.
Sameer: Hmmm...
Me: Once we entered our final semester, we concentrated more in our project and colorfully completed our college life. Though it hurts a little to miss those sweet and idiotic moments, we were happy roaming in and out of the city.
Sameer: But how was your first day in office?
Me: Hey, it was the funniest day in my life, as for the first time, I filled some applications and followed some process without his shadow. That night I got many scolding from him for my stupid mistakes. In my training days, I missed him a lot – slogged for clearing the tests but at last completed colorfully and now my life is happy.
Sameer: So what’s next?
Me: You mean marriage, right?
Sameer: Yes, of course! If am not wrong, you will marry your love, I mean Ashik.
Me: Hey, cut the crap, he is my best part but coming to marriage life I give the choice to my parents and they know better. Actually they found a match for me and his name is Rohit.
Sameer: What did Ashik say?
Me: Ashik and my parents enquired about him and they found that Rohit is not good, and they put a full stop to him. Actually Ashik is very worried about my life, so he himself is finalizing things.
Sameer: I think Ashik is in love with you.
Me: What’s wrong with you? Please don’t mistake us. He is the one who finalized RAHUL, you know how hard efforts he put to find a good guy for me. He along with my parents finalized him.
Sameer: Who is he?
Me: My fiancé, I got engaged last month, and in another two months we are getting married.
Sameer: Am really shocked yaar. I thought Ashik would be life partner but you are saying Rahul as he is the one finalized by your parents. In what way he will match you, will he be your shadow as Ashik used to be?
Me: Hey, Rahul is sweet, he understands me better and I hope he will be my sweetest partner of my life.
Sameer: I am confused.
Me: Don’t get confused, Ashik is always my best part and best friend for life and Rahul is my life. I am feeling sleepy, Good Night.
Sameer: Hmmm Good Night Neha.
I ended the call and was thinking about Sameer, how he misunderstood the relationship between Ashik and me. Sameer kind of guys, always don’t know what’s happening between best friends and they always keep puzzling about us. And the worst part is sometimes they speak badly about us which hurts a lot.
I sincerely request you all not to misunderstand the purest relationship in the world – friendship, for some it starts with friendship, followed by love and ends in marriage which is not stable; but for me and Ashik it starts with friendship, follows with friendship and never ends. You can call it as friendship or a HIDDEN word which clarifies better. In my opinion, it is FRIENDSHIP + LOVE + CARE = HIDDEN, the word which needs to be found and added to dictionary.

An Unexpected Travel - A Cute Girl - Magic Word Spelled On Us
Though I go to Chennai every week, I felt energized when watch struck six on Friday evenings as my thoughts will fully be with my home only, Neither can I work, nor I do I have the mood for that during that time. My friends teased me as usual, so I thought I shouldn't go to Chennai that weekend but the situation demanded me to go to Chennai. I came out of the company, walked to the nearby bus stop, and got into a bus (Bangalore – Hosur). In a few minutes the bus stopped as a cute girl stepped in. I couldn't help myself staring at her, my heart desired that she should be mine but would that happen? In fact, not only I but the entire bus was staring at her.
I thought she would get down a stop before mine and would come in AC or sleeper bus but she didn’t, and I thanked God for that. I got down at Hosur and had my dinner at the usual shop and boarded the same Express Bus which I always travel by, and sat in the last seat before back entrance. Still I remember her face, the wavy hair with a couple of strands dancing here and there, tiny little ears, heart-stealing eyes, a perfect rose bud lips and much more; Wow she is much prettier than any girl I saw in my life time, but am just more than an average looking guy, 6 ft tall, fit enough to knock down six people in one punch. The watch showed ten; the bus was almost full except the seat beside me, she got into the bus via the back entrance and searched all over the place for an empty seat but there wasn’t one other than the one alongside me. She had no choice but to sit near me. My heart started beating fast, pulse rate increased; I sweated a lot; I was on pins and needles, but thanked God for everything! We “took off” and in a few minutes the conductor came and questioned her confusingly, “Madam Neengavena front conductor seatla change panringala”, for which she responded as, “No issues get me a ticket for Chennai”, and I said, “Ennakum oru ticket kodu na Chennaiku (Get me a ticket for Chennai!)”. I was the happiest man as it was the first time I was sitting with a girl and I thanked God!
I spent an hour seeing her bare foot and the bus reached Krishnagiri, a few more people got in and among them one guy stood close to the seat and irritated her.. “Hi can you do me a favor? Shall we change our seats, I feel irritated here”, she asked, I nodded and we changed our positions; actually this is the ideal way to sit with a girl, she was on the window side and I, on the other side. After few minutes, she said, “Hi, this is Megha working as a System Engineer in ___”.
"This is Magesh working as a Tera Data Specialist in _____." I said with a smile.
"Great dude! Data warehousing Specialist? Superb Yaar." She said looking into her eyes.
I smiled and asked her about her experience, just to confirm her age for which she replied an overall experience of one year and she was a 2008 pass out from SSN Engineering College, Chennai. I wanted to talk more with her but that stupid girl took her iPod out to hear some songs, so I initiated the conversation for the first time stating, “Hey Megha, I did my engineering in Velammal Engineering College”.
Megha: Hey in that jail?
Magesh: It is not like that, I enjoyed a lot with my friends in my college days as well as in my school days. If you wish I will tell you all those sweet moments.
Megha: I love to hear those, please go ahead dude!
Mahesh: You meant my schooling right? Hmm, I was the most mischievous guy in my school days but equally favorite for all my teachers too as was the king of Mathematics and Science, I scored centum in both the subjects in my Tenth Standard Public Examination and you know I was the topper of my school.
Megha: Hey that’s cool, so you are the Mathematics genie and Science too? So you like Botany or Zoology?
Mahesh: I love botany, don’t ask me reasons but I simply love Botany.
Megha: Botany? Oops I thought Zoology yaar.
Mahesh: Hmm I even like that too, and the reason behind me scoring well was my parents and my girl.
Megha: Your girl? Hey who is she? What she is doing? You still love her?
Mahesh: Hey just in split seconds you are asking me thousand questions?
Megha: Not thousand but just four, if you don’t wish to answer leave it. Sorry to cross my limit.
Mahesh: That's okay, I loved a girl who was my class mate from Ninth Standard; I loved her a lot but never had guts to tell her that I loved her. Now she is married and she is no more in my life.
Megha: Sorry dude.
I said that’s okay and kept silent for the next few minutes, but she again initiated the talk by saying a big hello, I responded her and the conversation now had more intensity as she was more involved in it.
Megha: Hey Mathematics genie what about your Higher Secondary Examination, if am not wrong you took Science group and scored centum in all the subjects right?
Mahesh: No you are wrong, I scored centum in Mathematics but neither in Bio nor in Physics and Chemistry, I lost my interest in studies and somehow managed to clear the exam.
I paused for some time so that she completed her Ramayana about her safest travel to her dad, smiled and asked me about my College life. “My second sweetest phase of my life, where I learnt what life is and friends, usually when you hear the name Velammal Engineering College, you people will be thinking that it was a very strict college but actually it is not; it all depends on your friends and faculties. In that way I am lucky, right from my first semester to eight semester; I enjoyed a lot, particularly there were moments which I can’t forgot in my life time, one of that was in my fourth semester, I accidentally questioned my professor politely but my face expressions made it looked like I am rude to him, He got angry and started blabbering that he was an rogue in his college days and no one can dare him and some craps which was fueled more by my class mates laugh. Hope you can guess who could be the victim." She smiled and the bus also stopped in the usual pit stop. I got down, refreshed myself and bought a Sprite 500ml pet bottle for us. The bus started after ten minutes and I initiated the talk.
"When are you planning to sleep?" She responded, “Are you planning to sleep?” and what could be my answer definitely I don’t want to waste this precious opportunity of speaking with a beautiful angel. I smiled and took the topic about marriage, though all the people in bus starred at us angrily but we didn’t consider it and started our sweetest conversation. So what sort of guy, what you expect from him? She blushed, smiled, her voice was soft & airy, “I want a guy who is good at heart, loves his parents more than me and loves me truly”, “Enough?”, “Yes and what sort of girl you are looking for?” I smiled gently and said, “Sexy, hot, good looking girl – definitely not in this category, I want a girl who loves her mom, should have a powerful eyes and moreover she should be mine all the time”. Megha said, “Romba Nalla Paiyano?” I smiled, and in seconds rain started pouring down, though the window was closed; rain drops started to fall from top of the bus on her face and started following the nature’s route. Thank God, rain stopped in half an hour and the droplets which fell on her face too stopped, but in that mean time she was drenched enough to feel the chillness of the air which came through broken walls of bus. She looked very sexy and I couldn’t help myself starring at her, my watch showed 1 and the most romantic moments of my life happened in the next three hours.
Mahesh: Oh my god, my hands are aching Megha.
Megha: Why?
Mahesh: Keeping my hands in same position (Actually there is no logic in it, but I tried some idea, like a trial and error method)
Megha: So?
Mahesh: If you don’t mistake shall I put my hands over your shoulder for some time, please.
She smiled.
I put my hands over her shoulder and started speaking some crap, I did not even remember what I spoke but only hands, as I reached the highest place in the world; she starred at me angrily and asked me to remove my hand but I said her that my hands weren't following my instructions and asked sorry for that. She removed my hand from her shoulder and started murmuring, “Cha, conductor sonna appiaya munadi seatiku poiyirukalam, none of the guys is good”, I heard only those and so started the repairing work for the damage done, it took around 40 minutes to convince her and at last she smiled and replied, “You are very sweet ….”, “Sweet, then?”, “Nothing”, she said and smiled.
By then, the chemistry between us was awesome, we both started smiling at each other for silly reasons, might not be silly; but I loved those moments. She was awesome in her expression, said many blah-blah about her school days, followed by a huge smile, the rain started again and the droplets too, I felt some nonsense in my brain and executed a few which was fun and it included playing with rain drops and by the time rain stopped it was 3 AM, she was very wet and looked sexy. I prayed to God that I should act like a good guy for the next few hours till we reach Chennai but nothing helped me, as I kissed her hands first, her cheeks in seconds; I waited for her to react but she kept silent. I thought of stopping this nonsense but was senseless, so went ahead by kissing her cheeks once again, after seconds when I went to kiss on her cheeks, she turned to warn me but I tasted strawberry flavour for a minute, her lip gloss flavor.
Her eyes became moist which said that she was crying for the mistake done, so to cheer up, I spoke with her in a sweet tone, I felt it didn’t help. I fell in love with her totally; though I wanted to express it I didn’t have any words. She took my mobile, not a fancy one though – Motorola W270 and typed some number and called to that number and the bus stopped as we reached Chennai. I helped her in getting her luggage down, she said bye, and left the place; I didn’t know how to react but was thinking about her and about when could I meet her next. My mobile beeped twice, my hands rushed to take the mobile from my bag and found a message from an unknown number. I opened the message and it read, “Love you maggi”. I jumped; danced for my favorite song in the background as I felt the Magic Spelled on us.
