Day 01: The Chalkboard Sentence (Sid & Isha)

The Chalkboard Sentence
✦ Day 01 of 30 · Act I: The Innocent Spark

The Chalkboard Sentence

"The entire classroom laughed."

The classroom hummed with pre-class energy, the teacher yet to arrive. Sid stepped up to the blackboard, eyes sparkling with daring mischief. Chalk in hand, he boldly scribbled: "The world vanishes when my gaze is fixed on her. I see a beautiful world inside." He signed it with a heart as Isha blushed from her bench. The English teacher walked in, surveyed the room, and picked up the chalk. With a knowing smile, she reworded it: "The entire universe vanishes until nothing exists but her gaze, revealing a world trapped within." Capping the chalk, she declared, "This looks better."
