Happy to hold you
as my life, but it hurts when
our parents shed tears
heart smiles to dream
a love journey with you, but
the reality hurts

It takes enormous courage to follow your heart. I know so many who have not because of cultural and parental pressures. There is no easy solution. A very interesting poem. Thank you.
