Through a child’s eyes
World is a space for humans
Neither the boundaries
Nor their skins matter
Through a child’s eyes
Race is what happens
On the school playground
Not the human colors
Through a child’s eyes
God is an unseen love
Adored for the blessings
Not the religious divisions
Through a child’s eyes
Mommy & Daddy are souls
Friends & Siblings are blood
Rests of them are relatives
Through a child’s eyes
This poem is a rhyme
A bunch of words to cheer
Without knowing the real fear
Happy New Year !
Happy to a perfect Poet
Thanks for the smiles

Seeing things through the eyes of a child keeps the world simple and beautiful. Everything is to be explored and enjoyed. Thanks for this delightful poem.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely and sweet. Nothing is as pure as a child's exploration of the world. Everyone is equal in their all-accepting innocent eyes.
ReplyDeleteIf only we each could retain our child's eyes!

In between reading the previous article and this one I was reading something that would be worth sharing, after having read this.
ReplyDeleteHe who mocks the infant's faith
Shall be mock'd in age and death.
He who shall teach the child to doubt
The rotting grave shall ne'er get out.
He who respects the infant's faith
Triumphs over hell and death.
The child's toys and the old man's reasons
Are the fruits of the two seasons.
~William Blake
Through the child's eye, this world is a better place.
