Mesmerizing eyes
Met them accidentally
Fell in love deeply
The Immense Love
Blew me immediately
Swept me off the floor
His gestures conveyed
It is not true love but lust
He no more needs me
Yet Cool breeze reminds
His silky touch and kisses
I treasure them most
Wave touches the shore
Echoing sweet glimps of life
Please come back to me
I wished....
PS: This is my first attempt in presenting a poem made of Haiku's... I hope it came out well...

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it SIS, so great. Thanks for sharing...

There's a fine line between love and lust. We sometimes don't know where one ends and the other begins because, after all, they both give wonderful feelings. This is a good reflection on those two powerful emotions!
ReplyDeleteAccolades only for you SIS. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the first two stanzas - thank you for sharing

Sis, i'm back from sensational haiku wednesday and your words continue to resonate... i could feel the deep longing here. bravo!
ReplyDeleteSensational Haiku Wednesday
Hello a few miles (FM) :-), i really liked your haiku. i have fallen in love with haiku myself... one of my submissions is also a set of haiku, one of my favorite types of poems actually. this is really good and the content hits home so i especially liked it! great job. the first verse of the second stanza has 4 syllables instead of 5. it was funny because as soon as i started reading your poem i thought. HEY this is haiku, it had that feel and it was really great. wonderful piece. i don't usually add a link but since we both had similar types of posts, here's my multi stanza haiku: http://700miles.wordpress.com/2010/11/15/addictive-flow/
ReplyDeletethe closest thing i have gotten to a true haiku(there are so many rules) might be this one: http://700miles.wordpress.com/2010/08/26/ponderings/
ah ok. i'll stop rambling...
oh and like the similar names too. :-) take care...keep writing!!! ~700miles
