ReplyDeleteI like it so much.

I've noticed quite a few people lately are 'double-dipping' their works for separate challenges.

Nice One Shot!
That's the worst feeling—being on the recieving end of hurtful words like that. Cool that you channel that into a haiku stanza. Happy One Shot!
ReplyDeleteOh, this says so much in a few perfectly chosen words. Words - ignorant, hurtful ones - can definitely be fatal wounds to the heart.
ReplyDeleteperfection in simplicity. My One Shot is HERE.
ReplyDeleteSTICKS AND STONES was a LIE perpetrated by children. Words have power, they live forever in your heart. Each time we speak we can praise, rejoice or denigrate and hurt. It's a choice. This is longer than your poem. Also, not as good.
ReplyDeleteBravo. Thanks. Gay (@beachanny)
Once spoken can never be erased --
ReplyDeleteInteresting how a profound truth can be penned in such few words.
