Happiness is taking a bath in a well. Recently, after almost three decades, my parents and grandparents visited their native village at our request. We booked a mini bus and set off early in the morning. It took us two hours to reach the main village, where we prayed to the gods. Later, we went inside the village and met many of my parents' friends. They started telling stories from the past and how things have changed beyond recognition. We saw tears of happiness and sadness. After we had lunch, we visited the rice and sugarcane fields and finally jumped into the well to take a bath. It was an amazing feeling! My brother dived deep into the water more than ten times from the top of the well, while we climbed onto the mithagu (rock stone) and splashed around in the water. We took many pictures, which I will upload soon.
Have you ever jumped into a well and enjoyed a fresh bath? Share your experience with us. Spread love!
And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…
When families meet,
Happiness blooms;
Life lessons are learned,
History is happiness!
You and me, In these printed words;
Will live for years,
Happily ever after!

History is happiness!
You and me, In these printed words;
Will live for years,
Happily ever after!
