Are you ready for The Haiku Challenge 2012? The prompts are out, rules are set, for more details visit HERE, and the challenge enters Day 27 with this post.. The challenge begins at 12 AM or 00:00 IST and goes on until GMT-08:30AM (i.e., the next day 02:00 PM or 14:00 IST), so all the time zones can participate in this challenge,and three cheers to all the challengers! Write a Haiku inspired by the Image and share your Haiku Post Direct Link here in the linky tool or in comment section of this post, if Linky tool is not available. SiS, it took its toll, this prompt... its after along time I had to think for sometime..you can see its 0045 hrs in India... as I told you I start writing on the prompt only about half an hour before the link is to open.. but this one took me time even to understand the pic.. when I enlarged it I saw the slope of concrete..well what so I say..you have done it so well here.. THANKS SiS after this challenge I would be taking a break for sure..ha, ha..

ReplyDeleteThis was a very difficult image for me to write to, as I had family lost in the Holocaust. I didn't know that there was now a memorial at Dachau, so I learned a little something from investigating the origins of this photo. Thank you for all of your hard work on this Haiku Challenge. I have learned quite a lot and have enjoyed participating.
