The Secret


This post has been published by me as a part of Blog-a-Ton 56; the fifty-sixth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write.

On hearing an unfamiliar scream, he rushed inside the room. His lovable wife, looked at him and the new-born angel, and whispered, "I will..."

He waited her to complete the sentence, but on the seeing blank lines in the heart monitor, his heart skipped a beat.

The doctor held his hands and said, "We could not save your wife. Sorry." Tears poured down from his eyes. The nurse gave him his angel, and the doctor asked him follow the process to complete the formalities.

And what she wanted to say remained a secret till her daughter published her debut novel.
