Remember the time

they went to earth
saluted the master

he did succeed at first
and announced himself
to the entire nation
his bat thrashed them
when waquar bounced
or when wasim swing
with no trace of fear
be it allan border or
any captain of team
respected little prick
be it Sidney or Sharjah
smashed the bowlers
round the corner for 6
be it Murali or Warne
smashed out of the park
broke gavaskar, border
lara records in tests,
10,...18k runs in ODI
his bat scored first
double hundred in ODI
50 centuries in tests
finally his dream of
37 & living for 22 years
came true when India won
sleep well little master
sweet memories for us
will cherish it with a smile
ever, ever and forever….
